I haven't registered yet, waiting for a few more--BUT watching closely for laggers.
Please don't wait until the last minute (literally) before registering. It is frustrating wanting to play and have people say "I tried to late register". Get your shite together, people, it's cards not the playground.

Well. Kinda looks like i missed nothing last night. Two weeks in a row?
ON a side note I had a valid reason. I proposed to my girlfriend of 7 1/2 years yesterday!!! Luckily she said yes, otherwise....
So what say, perhaps next week we'll play some poker?

Have you guys been hit with this yet?
The US Attorney for Southern District of NY orders banks to freeze accounts paying off on these games. Not sure if that is the same district as the one that let Elliot Spitzer off the hook.
Guess if you play, you should keep near zero balances. Then again, I suppose that might be the next Swiss banking thing where they force the banks to divulge who won and lost.

"playing" is not illegal. In fact neither is winning.
What is illegal is for Banks to transfer money to these sites. But, there is some back and forth on that, and more than one politician working to make it legal.
However, as I understand you can still get your money. Just read through the payment options of the site. The truth shall "make you rich?"
As for me, I likely will never find out what it is like to receive that check...

My thoughts go like this. If the bank account of the site is frozen, not only will you not be able to withdraw money, but perhaps the payments made by the players are not there - so there may really be no money to withdraw even if you win.
Just wondering...
