I was only 5 in 1965. I thought the 144,000 was a symbolic number. That's why I'm armed to the teeth now. I wouldn't be so vain to believe I'm even part of the symbolic number. Armageddon baby! Bring it on! I'm ready to kill a whole slew of them demons. I just hope they don't bring a super-upgraded cave troll along. You know, the kind of stuff that would give Gandalf trouble.

Just a question here: Why is it that anything about Jesus causes such an uproar? Hey we talk about alot of stuff on the Taco but some of you guys flame whenever Jesus is mentioned. I have one more question. What up with some of the "down" comments ?

I've found most on the Taco are pretty darn bright. Why not intelligent discussion instead of the hoodie slams....jess wonderin'. Yo know Lynnie, she wonders alot ...hehehe.

It's not Jesus, Lynne. I think that many of us take this guy as a sacreligous lout, who is using his own ego to presume to speak for god, Jesus anyway. i realize that this may sound funny coming from me, but he Is taking the lord's name in vain.

making fun of this guy, and the 'beliefs' he is arrogant enough to feel he is justified in ramming down our throats is a mild rebuke, in a time honored tradition. It's not making fun of Jesus, or anyone's legitimite beliefs.

Jaybro, thanks for giving Lynne something to think about. This is where I am coming from. I take pretty much everyone at their word.....which can be a problem sometimes granted. But that's how I'm made (with some alterations.....hehehe still thinking new car. : DDD )

Anyway, the dude did give some bible passages. Granted they were delivered in a Giant Rant. But they are words that need to be considered.

It amazes me that God-fearing people are deemed stupid and gullible....I guess we'll just wait and see who was right. The train is stillin the station, you can still board this train.

I do not think that He's coming soon though. Not necessarily. I think we are in a transitional period. We can continue our perverted, corrupt ways. Or we can cleanse ourselvses and move towards the truth and moral ways. I fear we may be lost though...He watches and waits for us to do right.

interesting point, due to the Authoritarian delivery style, I really couldn't pay attention to the actual quotes. I'll look back. There usually is something to those passages. As a teenager i once set up a photo exhibit of my own images of what 1st Corinthians 13 said to me.
