Cochise sushifest beta request: Where the heck are we going?

I've never been down to Cochise before, and understand it is a big area. I've got the Falcon and Kerry guides for general reference.

Brian: From Mountain Project:

"From Tucson, had east on I-10 to exit #303 (Tombstone/Bisbee). Turn right (south) on Arizona Highway 80 and drive for about 20 miles. Just before Tombstone, turn left onto Middlemarch Road. Follow this rough gravel road for almost ten miles to Forest Road 687. Make a left, towards the West Stronghold and follow this dirt road another two miles north. Make a final right turn on a dirt road that leads to a circular parking area."

Hi Nature,

Unfortunately I have to teach that Saturday and I will be unable to attend. I plan on making a trip that way soon, hopefully we can get some climbing in. Cheers, Jude

I'm still trying to zero in....

I "think" it's going to work.....

I have 2 adult and 2 child sushi suckers.
How much dough are we talking about? There must be a paypal thing going eh? Sorry I don't have time to read everything right now. I'll probably try to figure it out tonight.

Remember, I'm a good sushi chef myself, so if I make it you can count me and my sharp knife in on the labors!

UNIIIIIIIIII!!

I love anderson valley IPA. It's a little to hoppy for sushi but we'll have some sake the guests can switch over to for a few hours ;-). I mean I looooove Anderson Valley IPA!!!

$30/person/night. Kids are free with your slicing skills, eh? ;-) Actually... they are free either way.

Right now the group is relatively small so I won't be in desperate need of rolling/slicing help. I have Tony washing dishes which is where the real work is at.

I delayed and delayed - hoping for my money to come in....One client owes me for the entire month of damned January, and it seems the economy has got many of the others holding onto their wallets - WTF?

So, I have to face it - Not going to be at the Fest.

Booooo.

but I was just wondering if you'd had a chance to do anything
with the Batshirts. . .

(If you've posted it somewhere else, I apologize, I must have
missed it. . .just curious).
Thanks!

I'm a bit confused on the nights that sushi is ON. Anybody interested in pulling down on Lemmon before or after?

Steve: I posed on the BAT thread that I sent in the order last week. The should have a check by now. They will let me know once the shirts are ordered/in.

Tim: Saturday and Sunday night. I'm heading down Friday afternoon to set up camp. Did you get a date for v-day? If not it sounds like you and the PMB are odd men out. Enjoy the snuggle time ;-)

You should be able to find someone to climb with before/after. I won't be able to tho...

Edit: there's a place that sells firewood around the corner. It's reasonably priced. Unless someone has a better idea if we all pitched in $5 we should be able to put a good pile together.

Doug,

What are firewood regs around Cochise? Last time I was there there was tons of down dead hardwood around. Could help make a wild fire a little smaller. Have chainsaw will travel. Mike. that keg sounds REAL good. Once again if any one can climb Friday at Lemmon would be great. Tuesday is a possibility also. Never climbed thar. How far from Tucson is Cochise? Me thinks I will arrive Thursday p.m. somewhere.

Cochise is another 1.5 hours past Tucson. the PMB comes in Thursday night. you, and anyone else arriving Thursday, should just plan to land at my place. What's the Doctor doing? MisterE is picking up his girl at some point. Oh... there you go. PMB is around Friday to climb ;-).
