I mean this in all seriousness....I think the fallen firefighters and policemen etc. would be honored that a poker game was played Sept. 11th on their behalf...knowing many of the guys in their profession.

IT figures that fattrad would bet and hope to hit on the river.
That's the republican way-- no serious calculations, no understanding of the game, just bet and hope.

the john rosholt memorial tournament?
edit:
"Okay people, the Full Tilt elves say it can take up to FOUR business days to schedule a tourney.
(business days are Monday thru Friday just in case some of you bottom feeders have forgotten)
That means that once we get our act together it’s still not happening anytime soon.
There seems to be a consensus for weekdays so here it goes,
a DATE & TIME drawn in the sand,
don’t worry if you can’t make it I’m sure we’ll be doing this again.
DATE: Thursday, September 11th
TIME:
6:00PM – Pacific
7:00PM – Mountain
8:00PM – Central
9:00PM – Eastern Michigan Redneck Time
How about it…will this date and time work for those that care? "
what's the buy in, how do this work?

I've made a few withdraws from fulltilt, and it has gone smooth every time. you can get a check in the mail (haven't done, but my roommate has), bank transfer (easiest, about a week wait), and i think you can get cash wired for a local pick up also.
cheers,
patrick
edit: goatboy, are you setting them up for a weekly deal, or a one time shot?!?!
hopefully weekly

We have our table at Full Tilt reserved.
From the main window of FT, click the "Tournament" tab
then click the "Private" tab.
Scroll down until you get to Sept. 11 - 21:00 selections and
double click the one that says Hold'em with a $10 + $1 for the Buy In.
It will show the name of the tourney to the left of the Cashier button just so you know it's the right one.
Another and much faster option is to click "Requests" at the top of the FT window then
"Find a Tournament by ID".
Enter this number - 60513516
and it will take you directly to the sign up page.
Anyone having any sign on difficulties let me know,
and we'll try to work it out before Thursday.
Are you IN Lynne???
We have enough room for 900 players, so don't be shy.

Before I ran into your post I was just thinking ... wonder if Lynnie could do this ? I really would like to try just for the ....like my grandpop says...The halibut.
Will consult my billards instructor. He also plays ze cards. :D
