Nature, I thought he looked a bit familiar.

Zander, thanks! don't be a stranger. We have a ST book club that is reading Heart of Darkness right now by Conrad. It's short and we will discuss it at the end of June. Post in. We are a fun group with great comraderie. Don't know if spelled right, tired, long day. Lynne

Thanks Raydog, I wanted to post you much earlier, but my daughter was killing me, kinda kidding, we love each other, but she is her Father's D. She's awesome. Don't know what I'd do wi' ou' er'.

Anyway, you posted me awhile back about the # of pix and I never forgot. Thank you so much or the forum would be crazy with smothering pics

Is everyone able to download or do I need to go smaller?

Owl, you ok buddy???? Write if you're not. Hearts! Lynne

Pity the foo' that has to view superdorko via a 56k modem. Pity them but don't suck up to them :-). The size - both dimensionally and file size - are fine as they are.

You done for the night? ;-)

Nature, I am ! Have more but exhausted from being beaten by my daughter and the late hour....just kiddin girl!

But Nature thanks for asking, you are a polite kinda guy. It's funny, odd , peculiar, but climbing guys seem to be caring....even the tough guys..except for one I can't figure out yet.

Love challenges of life, real or imagined. See you all tomorrow for a lot more pics.

I remain yours, Lynne R. Leichtfuss

When I first discovered SuperTopo, it took me a while to figure out how to post photos. I'm not a computer ignoramus, but my plaintive cries for help usually got less than helpful three word responses, e.g. "Use Photobucket". Luckily Crimpie and I believe Curt came to the rescue, with somewhat more information. Eventually I figured it out, though my first photos were microscopic. I even got a scanner.

After being here for awhile, I noticed that newbies frequently had the same need. So I put together some paint by numbers instructions as to how to post photos, which I've updated as PhotoBucket changes its website. At least once a month I send it to someone, and usually it seems to work.

With Lynne, we seem to have hit the jackpot. Some wonderful photos. Thank you!

I suspect many here wish they'd taken a few more photos of their friends and climbs when they were young. Remembrances of things past. But there must be lots of photos out there that still need to be scanned and posted, with or without the help of geeks and photoshop.

Mighty Hiker, we could not have done it without the paint by numbers!

Hope to learn more and see you at Facelift. You are a Godsend to so many of us!

Just thinking about Owlman, but our culture does not generally bless, encourage or take care of males that have needs.

Owl, you darn well better keep me posted!!! and you darn well better know that Lynnie cares deeply about you!

Maybe it is Woodwards sister.... Joanne.

Either way, no way it is Waugh in that other pic. I've been looking up Bachars shorts for years.... got to be him.

Where are those guys to clear this up????

Dang Lynnie it's almost 7:00 and I'm lookin for more classics. I suggest that you DON'T modify any of the photos. Something about the state they're in that makes them even more classic to look at, maybe I'm old or whatever, but the stuff yer posting is(are) CLASSIC just the way they are. I gotta figure this photo stuff out cause I got lots of OLD stuff I could post, but got no Tarbuster to help me on this one.....where the hell is he anyway, I can't believe he hasn't posted up on this thread. Hey Roy, where are ya boy??? Anyway gives me something to look forward to after my work day is over at the office, hope there's some fresh stuff later today!
Peace

Morning all, big day at work, interested buyers, pray and good thoughts, ok. when that's done will get back on and post up a bunch more. Have some more B&W's then we move on to color. Luckily KP'S costume is in color!

Russ, what a sense of humor you have, and I can tell you are not intimidated by my threats. Have we ever met?

Waugh vs Bachar (hey that could be a fight title)That's Waugh's hat, I'm almost certain. Not being a true climber back then I too looked up a lot of shorts taking pics hehehe as you can see here. I guess that turned out to be a good thing. If I had been climbing...no pics

Great photos Lynne, thanks for sharing them.

I think Russ has it, those are Bachar’s shorts we’re looking up. Sock’s are kind of a tell all.

That’s a pretty young Randy Levitt on the Video camera and KP hasn’t reach puberty yet.

The shot of Dan and your daughter is all time!

Hey, Mike I guess I have to believe you about the Waugh-Bachar debate.( just might have to ask JB )however I know that man with daughter looks like they belong to me, but I have no idea who they are! Seriously. We never took our kids to bouldering contests. Mom and Dad have gotta have some fun! Smile. lrl

Well, lets see if I can fire up and figure out the photo bucket thing again.

Hey Lynne, incredibly nice pics. Who's doing the picture taking, some of the shots are fu-king classic! I too like the one of the shoes shot in a shallow depth of field (rest of the pic out of focus). And the one of the girl in mans arms is quite touching.

Keep 'em coming when you have time. The thread ain't going anywhere.

If you're going to the Facelift this year, that'll be extra incentive for me to make it back. It's a really good time, I just don't know if I'll be able to get away with Little John's arrival into my life. We'll see.

Thanks for sharing your slides with us..trust me, we love it!
