Wow, How cool is this!
Some poeple spend a lifetime looking for siblings/parents/sons and daughters... and within a week you have success.
Incredible.

Hell yea Jennie, I am very happy you guys found each other. I had to go out of town for a few days and thought I would check the thread before I started my little investigation.....:) But it looks like the supertopians come through again.

Just back from the weekend and see such a wonderful update.

YAY! Congratulations, Jennie. And for the people who were able to provide the missing links between Jennie and her dad, they must be feeling pretty good to find out how their small effort has helped in such a big way.

Hey Jennie, I've known your dad for many years and have lost touch with him since he's moved to Washington. He was a great climber and we've had many adventures together. I can make a call and get his number if you don't have it already. We miss Joe T over here! .........

hey there.. say, i been pressing for some deadlines, as to my books and such, and i had not been able to read all the post here... good thing, too, or i would not have got loose of this ol' wonderful place...

say, jennie.. say, i had not read this, as i feared it was most sad... it was a bad time for me to be feeling sad, too...

i finally jumped in though, and i am so very very happy for you.. this is a litte treasure for your heart, to be cherished above fine gold...

god bless and have many wonderful times, for what ever years you have lost.... (i have lost time with my kids, too, sadly, from my ex... )...

again, i am so very very happy for you... crying happy tears, now... :)

Congratulations Jenny and all who helped! None of my business, but here's an idea for when you meet your Dad again:

1. Buy a cheap rope at Walmart(clothesline?).
2. Learn to tie a bowline from internet.
3. Using new knot tying skills, tie yourself into one end of the rope.
4. Give other end to your Dad.
5. He'll know what to do.

All the best to both of you!--Bruce
