gheesh, what a sausage fest.
Here I count over twelve beautiful women in attendance and all we get are a bunch of photos of guy's eating raw fish & getting lit.
Where's the incriminating shots, you folks are holding back the best photos.
Give it up!
Seriously, what fun, thanks for the passing the love along.

zero sausagemaki was served over the weekend. We did, however, consider grilling up some elk loins and doing elkmaki.

I read your post and felt my face blush. I did so much to make this happen and am really damn proud of my part but without the amazing group of people it would have meant so very little.
EbolaErik stylee edit: The last photo above is turning into one of my favorites. People are consuming sushi like it's about to be gone (nooooooooooot going to happen). Mussy has a pie hole filled. Pennyslenvy is serious about gettin' some. Tarbaby is simply determined. Faux-Blinny is chowing down just like the rest of the crew. How AWESOME!

Thank you to everyone for a fantastic weekend! Especially Nature, Mother Nature, the Brutus of Wyde, Nurse Ratchet, Piton Ron, Crimpergirl, Mal, and Happiegirl. And the cast of thousands of helpers.
Hopefully we can have another such gathering in the autumn or next spring, involving even more. Though I fear that nametags may be advisable.
Here ismy brief post-SF report. (No photos yet.) Some of us had a bagel for lunch on Monday in St. George - it was still raining. To be precise, it started raining on Sunday morning, and continued to do so, sometimes heavily, through Monday. Desert schmesert.
After the bagel, I set out for Zion. I'm pretty sure I was there - there were signs and buildings and shuttle buses and things. But I didn't actually see it - it was pouring rain the whole time. Teach me to behave like a real tourist. I didn't see any Zionists or AIPACers or any of Daftrat's imaginary friends, either. But the drive out via the tunnel was pretty neat - I hoped to stop at the galleries and peer out, but was in the middle of a traffic-serpent, so no such luck.
Then it stopped raining. (There was 1" in Zion on Monday.) It started snowing instead, as I headed north on highway 89. It's probably pretty ranch and farm country, with mountains on both sides - if you can see anything. I bivouaced in the Richfield area. A pile of Scandinavians settled in the area. They even have a Scandinavian festival, but I missed it. But many of the businesses have -sen and -son names.
Today I wandered north via scenic highways and byways, and am now benighted in the SLC area, or is that in the benighted SLC area? If accosted by missionaries, I decided that I would claim to be a Zoroastrian or Manichean or possibly neo-con. Nothing like comparative religions for muddying the water.
I not only experienced a great deal of rain and snow on this trip, I also acquired a cold. Wednesday I have some meetings (Fatty: not with the RNC), and hope to drop by Jello in Ogden before heading north.

One more from Nature, the sushi machine:
View from behind the knife:
Swellymon is not a vampire. He really was there. Good to meet you, mon.
David Bloom trying to juggle bowls. Success? Don't know yet...
Another campfire scene. Love the fading sky and the firelight reflecting in the faces.
Parker reflects the fire.
Funny, I don't remember all the color. And I thought that tequila did that to me.
Tarbuster hanging with the fish:
When I saw Mister E looking like this I knew it was time to climb into my truck.

Mighty Hiker- Looking forward to hearing from you tomorrow. I have to leave Ogden at 3:30 in the pm, though, so I hope you can get up here earlier. Give a call to Ogden Climbing Parks 801-399-1130 and you'll get me or you can ask for my cell number.
Really, this weekend bolstered/renewed my faith in my fellow climbers/humans. By extension, Supertacoland rules! I hope to meet you all, one day.

What a party! Nature - thanks so much for organizing such a good time
and keep the fest alive. Lots of thanks are due all around. Nature,
Mother Nature, Piton Ron, and Brutus of Wyde, and Nurse Ratchet all worked
their asses off cranking out an endless stream of amazing sushi. All in all
it was incredible meeting so many of you all in the flesh after several years
of virutal bantering. Real faces, real voices.
The only way I could have enjoyed it more is if I hadn't been climbed completely stupid
by Larry DeAngelo in Red Rocks before heading for the Sushifest. As it was,
I got such a savage beating up in First Creek Canyon I was a virtual Alzhiemer's
case for the next four days - Judy Who? Where's my tequila? Is the van in park?
How do the doors work? Am I wearing underwear? What's your name again?
Sh#t, did I forget my towel again? I didn't just turn the wrong way onto a
one way street did I...? On and on it went for four days and I can tell you
the tequila didn't help one bit.
Malcolm was an animal with his camera for the whole event and has the
real trove of images but here are a couple I managed to catch.
The stone speaks for itself
Larry DeAngelo after our descent from the nine pitch FA we called "Tin Pan Alley".
For the uninitiated and out-of-shape (me) it was a mostly a matter of taking
a big #6 Wild Country cam for a long, brutal walk.
Desert in bloom...
Crimpergirl and Blinny
Radical and his lovely wife Jackie
Brutus and a sushi shark (almost lost my arm getting this shot...)
They might not all be Tacos, but the Flagstaff crew were Super - The doctor and Rodman
Flouride looking as grand as she did the whole time
Reddirt and Crimpergirl looking fine as well
Vet Mike, PaganMonkeyBoy, Jeff Lowe, and Radical
Mother Nature, Mark Miller, and Mrs. Blinny
Texplorer, Jeff Lowe, Rodman, and Anders
And of course, the sushi...
Parker and Frankie keep each other warm
Parker earning his Jim Beam the old fashion way
Malcolm, Crimpergirl, MisterE, Reddirt, and Nature seeking shelter from the storm
Malcolm giving Parker a lesson on optimizing your footwork
