Ranting spoiled children never give up.
Congress has surely come to understand this about Trump, but there are a whole lot of Americans who would still take him at his word (and later rationalize him when he's changed his mind....again).
Don't turn your back on him, or assume he's finally starting to make sense. He has another game up his sleeve, no doubt.

I believe I heard Trump say "They take a right, they take a right, until they get to the end of the wall then take a left or maybe a right and they are now in the United States." Seems to me if you take a right then another right you're heading backward.

Trump says he will demand money for his wall again during the re opening
or shut down the government again if he doesn't get it
mostly this just allows people to be paid and go back to work, for a couple of weeks
now it is up to Hannity, Limbaugh, and Ann Colter to tell Donald what to do next

Those folks don't get paid a helluva lot to do that job but the ones I've seen sure have been professional about working through all this bullsh#t. Tip of the hat to them.
As much has I despise the fear culture I never take it out on the TSA people. But for a little bit of book work, it could be me digging through an endless stream of luggage

I'm not warm & fuzzy about TSA workers, but I feel really bad they have been stiffed on paychecks by Trump & his minions.
I've been through TSA checkpoints 3 times since the shutdown & each time, after I'm cleared, I tell the worker or workers:
"I really wish you were getting paid."
Tuff old Fritz actually gets a little "choked-up," while expressing those thoughts.

Conservatives had a quick message for President Donald Trump after he announced a deal to end the government shutdown without funds for his border wall: You caved!
"Good news for George Herbert Walker Bush: As of today, he is no longer the biggest wimp ever to serve as President of the United States," tweeted conservative commentator Ann Coulter.
"Nancy Pelosi is alpha," tweeted conservative film maker Mike Cernovich.
And right wing commentator Michael Malice opined: "Apparently a wall isn't as good as a cave."
Conservative outlets, from the Drudge Report to Breitbart News, also blasted headlines in dramatic font declaring Trump caved with "NO WALL."
Priceless. But this ain't over yet, not by a long shot.
Trump will easily react to those conservative ankle biter pundits with something ridiculous....i.e. a National Emergency declaration.

I'd like to make two comments please:
1. Calling Ms Colter a "conservative commentator" seems a bit like calling bull-crap well, fertilizer. Ann Coulter is filled with hate, she spews hate and, it seems, thinks only hate. She's one of the few political figures in our county's current discourse that really is evil (and, apogee, I know it was just something you copy/pasted - my comment isn't necessarily directed at you).
2. Who is "pendejo?" Over 100 political posts in two weeks (and no non-political posts) has to indicate someone who was banned and has now reappeared. It's not that I mind their posts (they're at least as welcome on here as I am), but that I'm curious and I'm a bit slow. I can't figure out who "reincarnated."
I'll take the answer to the mystery comment on line, if at all....

I've read quite a bit of stuff about Colter. The term hypocrite comes to mind. She has made some pretty derisive remarks about blacks, but is known to have dated black men. Poor guys.

More Coulter commentary:
After the White House revealed in December it could back off from Trump's demands for over $5 billion in border wall funding to avoid a shutdown, Coulter mocked the president on Twitter, leading to a feud in which Trump unfollowed one of his biggest campaign supporters.
"The chant wasn't 'SIGN A BILL WITH B.S. PROMISES ABOUT "BORDER SECURITY" AT SOME POINT IN THE FUTURE, GUARANTEED TO FAIL!' It was "BUILD A WALL!" Coulter tweeted in December.
During a March interview with The New York Times' Frank Bruni, Coulter said Trump should feel the "fear of God" if he doesn't build the wall, arguing his supporters would leave him en masse unless he fulfills his campaign promise.
"He could sell Ivanka Trump merchandise from the Oval Office if he would just build the wall," Coulter said. "If he doesn't change course, no, they're never coming back."

Trump flinched.
His conservative allies are mocking him for it & at least some of the Democrats in Congress are celebrating.
Unfortunately, the fat man/child has another opportunity within the next three weeks to show what a prick he can be about fuking with American government worker's lives.
Why wouldn't he start another shutdown?
