Really? This thread is still being beat around? The women who posed for the calendar obviously have no problem with it. Don't know any of them that I know of but assume they are astute individuals.

This is what we have on our plate, again, today? Endlessly disagreeing with other people’s beliefs and values and sense of morality, and self-righteously proclaiming that our beliefs and our values and our morality is the only righteous way?
Ok, if that’s what we’ve got, then have at it. To paraphrase a man I admire, as though any properly formed human is going to spend their day any other way. I’ll tell you what the right belief and value and morality and male reaction for you to have is, because when you do that for yourself, you do it all wrong.
Thanks for doing what you do, you humans, with your diversity of bodies and self righteous beliefs and values and moralities.

And thanks to all of us for not shutting up, much as other people might want us to do that. There will be time enough for that when we’re dead.

I support JLP's right to provide another point of view. It's a conversation, not a trial or prosecution. Heck, even the artist could come out with something from this thread that could provide new insights about his vision. Vision is about what you see and how you see. There's plenty of fodder in this thread that could lead to recognitions that avoid ad hominems.

Yes you’re of course correct, I’ve learned that two very creepy trolls on ST feel like it’s just fine to personally attack my Art and myself for no other reason than jealousy and total lack of an open mind. Beyond this? All I can say is no woman who has worked with me has had any issues with my work in twenty years, So yes I find that faceless nameless trolls online want to join the conversation so someone, anyone will listen to them, great lesson, I’ll put that into the work. . .not. . .df

Good point. But what if one's purported "sense of morality" is not based on morality at all, but is a postured act, a puppet show like a leader of state out to "make America great" while groping and porking every skirt in Tarnation, albeit by stealth, then paying off same to hush it up. Not to drag politics into this but I simply don't trust the word or authenticity of any properly formed male who is creeped out by an artful nude. But I'll defend his right to say as much.

All I can say is no woman who has worked with me has had any issues with my work in twenty years I don't have any comment on the women who pose, not a woman myself. Seems like the narcissism of a 20 something climber - something that fades with age - whatevs. My comments are from a man to other men.
Art is an object, so are rocks. Most of these women are not recognizable in the photos. Calling these human beings a "female form", "art", etc - it's objectification. Period. Okay, fine, they posed for it. However - when you stare at it all month long - now you're creepy.
I take it Dean and Largo are single these days - no?
I like how this kick starter thing allows anonymity - you don't have to stand there as a middle aged man at the checkout while a hot college girl looks over your purchases then looks you in the eye about it. It appears you guys are willing to pay extra to avoid that - like a lot extra.

I've spent my entire life with friends or in groups working out half naked, sweating, grunting - while climbing, running, weights - clad in short shorts, sport bras, whatever. Thing is I'm there together with them in person. The women are generally either near my age and/or ability, friends, I know their friends, their boyfriends, their husbands, maybe family too. Wonderful stuff, the best times of my life, love it.
Keep your hands and mind at 10 and 2 JPL, that's your turf..

I heard awhile back Hank made an 8 hr non stop no cut porno. I wish I could unhear that, because it crosses my mind every single time I see one of his posts. If true, then Hank is the Gladiator and watching that thing start to finish would be - I dunno man I have nothing on that.
