Only a few of the routes in this place are very gear intensive, but if you're coming for Zion whole 'nother story.

The roads are all graded and four wheel drive is overkill, but renting a van could be really cheap and effective for a large enough group.

Hey Brutus,
looking forward to cutting with you.

Happie, if you're around, I've given this some thought. You shouldn't plan on flying. Instead, you need to borrow that exotic
Ferarri roadster, and drive. The roadtrip alone, would be almost as much adventure as Fugu!

Also you could finance your trip by letting us each take it for a drive @$1 a spin. I'll commit to at least two, if I make it out.

What could go wrong?

Now that sounds like a plan.....I could even bring Teddy along then, sitting on my lap with paws in the 10 and 4 positions. He'd need to have safety goggles, of course.

10 and 4?

What happened to his right paw?

Teddy doesn't do the 10 and 2 position, he's a dog with attitude, and keeps his right paw low like a dude. But got to have the left paw up in sight, in case a homedog is rolling past; then he gives the "barely perceptable paw lift" as a cool dog greeting.....

How's that for avoiding admitting I am gettinsenile and mix up words, thoughts, phrases, and facts on an increasingly consistent basis?

Oh yeah - It is occurring to me that, since the sushifest will now be at the start of my trip, maybe I should stay in the neighborhood a few extra days and climb some new areas..... If anyone is interested in hanging with me, send me a PM. I am thinking maybe staying the Monday and Tuesday or so, and then heading to JTree on Wednesday.

Nature, I had to bail from Flag due to the storm, now at Queen Creek. I'll call ya Tuesday when I get back to arrange payment.

Looks to me like Nurse Ratchet and I will be hitting Red Rocks before the fest, so unless I can find a source in Las Vegas, I won't be able to bring Shiso. Any news whether Nature got any of my three checks I sent?

Edited to add: looks like a few good possibilities for getting Shiso in Vegas.

(dropped the first two in the mail without stamps... talk about senility!)

Really bummed that I can't make this!!!

But it also occurs to me that perhaps in addition to his sushi business, that nature should set up food photography business on the side!

i was thinking i could tack it onto the end of spring break, but the dates don't coincide. it would be fun. we could climb during the day and then at night eat sushi and play flashlight tag!
