Why don't you call it Seven... That was a Seinfeld joke.

If you're going with something traditional then why not go with a name like David or Peter?

If you pick a multi syllable name, think of what the short version will be. That's what everyone will start calling him/her.

Also, don't pick anything to "out there". Did that with my son and it constantly gets butchered.

Oh yeah, spell it normally. It can cause some real hassles because someone spells it wrong.

Congrats.

Chalupa Batman

Heh. My wife and I legitimately spent some effort trying to find a "B" middle name we liked so our son would be C.B. Probably for the best we failed (though I do have a cousin who still calls him "little Chalupa Batman").

A. R. Lopez

Al...
Randell...

Randell's get turned to 'Randy'
And the idea to have him 1st in line leads to any of the names that shorten to AL

R.A. Lopez - then the alphabetical advantage is sacrificed.
Both Randy or Al go well behind Joseph : J.R
or keeping the AL in front - A.J.

Lucky Lopez :)

...and I'll second "Max". Never met a Max who wasn't a solid fellow.

Side rant: Just say NO to pretentious spelling of any name BTW. My buddy named her son Taite (Tate- always mis pronounced Tay-ee-tee) and they both now have to deal with a lifetime of having to instruct people on the correct pronunciation/spelling. She gets mad about it. I say you should have just spelled it normal.

Edit at Gregg^^^ *groan* :)

Edit @ ThisJUstIn- I've got a Puerto Rican uncle named Rolla
