Teach them how to critically think and then form their own conclusions. If I did take them to a political event it would to practice recognizing misinformation .

Let's see, Ted's dad gives a speech for a wingnut so Ted's disqualified, but Hildebeast accepts tens of millions and is bought and paid for by the same people that ruthlessly execute gays and consider women one forth of a human being,
Talk about yer double standards!

He's hated more by people in his own party who know what a jerk he is. He'll be around awhile, unfortunately, when he picks up the evangelical support that dumb-as-rocks Carson currently has.

He's hated by all the RINOs feeding at the same trough as Hildebeast.
I'd like to see him as VP and as Prez Protem of the Senate, Turtleneck McConnell's boss.

So advocating a government that lives within it's means and Constitutional limits is extreme?
Well I guess to a Marxist progressive it is.

well why not Ted Cruz?
why not any of the fine Republican candidates
why can't the Republican Party win the White House anyway?
why is it that the American people keep rejecting them for the Presidency anyway?
old white males dying off or something?

bubbles..... we have a long way to go till election time.
Maybe after some of HC E'mails get posted, a few weeks before the election, things will look different....
Or she might have a stroke or something....
what difference does it matter at this point?

Crankster, I asked Jody that question, up thread. He still hasn't answered.
Edit: no Jody, I would not support who supports radicals, or the killing of innocents.
See how easy that was? It's called an answer.

I guess that rules out you voting for Hildebeest then. since she is bought and paid for by the sheiks.

"Cruz recently appeared with Pastor Kevin Swanson, who has called for the death penalty for gay's.
Do you support this idea, Jody?"
Jody, I know you aren't going to answer that question because you'll say it's a stupid question, and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't support it, anyway.
But I am curious as to how you throw a lot of support behind a candidate who agreed to appear at a conference where the keynote speaker made that kind of comment. Sure, maybe Cruz didn't know what Swanson was going to say, but after he said it, Cruz (and Huckabee, and Jindal) had a chance to separate themselves from it in some kind of statement. None of them did (far as I know). Is that significant to you in a candidate?

Is that significant to you [Jody] in a candidate?
Probably. But maybe for reasons most of us would find to be reasons to vote against such a candidate.
And Jody, if I'm wrong, I apologize, but I believe you've stated some fairly strong anti-gay views here in the past.

Well, I suppose claiming ignorance at the event is a strategy.
Afterwards, though, when the transcripts are out, and it's all in the media, and the guy who said it (Swanson) hasn't refuted it in any way...well, then it becomes pretty clear that it actually happened. And that Cruz, Huckabee, and Jindal have an opportunity to separate themselves and clarify where they are at.
Or not. No doubt, they are hoping that the hyperbolic-ness of Swanson's statement stays pretty much on him, and doesn't splash their way. To make a statement would simply draw attention, and maybe increase the risk of complicity. So instead, they choose to slide their way backward, whistling and rolling their eyes into another direction.
Yeah, that's politicians for ya. They are who they are, but we get the choice of who to support.

Cruz will never be elected for a number of reasons.
There are not that many old white people left who don't have dementia.
Anyone under the age of 30 thinks he reminds them of that creepy "Uncle" who tried to feel them up when they were twelve.
Minority voters suspect he intends to have them rounded up and sent to camps.
History buffs can't help but picture him in a Brown Shirt screaming about "others".
Evangelicals are torn between him and Huckabee. In the end they will just write in Reverend Ike and punt.

Jody, I am not a partisan. I vote for the person who views are similar to mine, and who I think will do the best job as president.
Evading my question calls your character into question.
