hey there, say, all...
well, since i mainly use supertopo, at eve, when i have more free time, my daytime, was very much the same (though i'd come in and check fast, here and there, when i did email)... so even though it did not affect daytime:
i did yard, and all those etc, and some of the paintings...
BUT NOW, as to the evenings--oho my...
once email is done and i visited friends at facebook to see how the are and the pics they share of their climbs, trips,etc... wellllll... i still have paining time, but--the night is long...
and no taco, to read--sooooo...
i watched rawhide... :)
while i knitted socks... i just can't seem to sit and do nothing, :))
had not seen it, since i was a kid and only saw a few rare eps, while babysitting, and loved exploring it for all that missed...
so far, it is the one show (though i never watched many OTHER TV shows, as i was picky)
where the episodes branch out in many ways and are like a study as to human-nature character study stuff, relationships through thick-and-thin, and stories that are really different than the 'same old redo' as many westerns (or as to modern tv, sitcoms, etc) all seem to end up doing...
they are not as predictable, as to what they are doing and where they are going...
great work by eric flemming... and some REAL old time cowboys, as well...
steve raines, and sheb wooly...
an adventure in story book land, and lessons to be learned...
and--FULL of the greatoutdoors...
and stampedes...
and food-fights... :)
disagreements...
AND agreements...
but true-friends, abound, and endure...
kind of like the taco-quilt... :)
SO--got two pairs of socks, just about done...
due to no taco nights... :)
say, mouse, ahhh, another rawhide watcher...
susan, my dad used to have a shirt that said: "i'd rather be sailing"
big mike!!!! wow, what a SHOT, that pic!!! great view!
reminded me of a chaz-shot... :)
chaz! great stuff, on the kite-share... and the dog, precious as always, at that view, as to artful...
anita514--great to see you out in the garden...
nita! i've done a few hula, and the old ones, too, and tahitan dance, was
so fun to hear your share...
andy--greatoudoors and birds, can't be beat...
survival--wow, good chore, i still want to repaint the side of my 'fading wall' on my robinshed... :)
lots of other very interesting shares, etc, and such...
:)

Kid number 5 is now locked and loaded and on their way. See ya!!!!... in nine months!
... just kidding. :-) No time for that kind of athletic/spiritual activity (or ST posting/reading) with the three young ones out of school for the summer and ramping up for big time summer vacation activities (already in progress). Plus the oldest asking for money for theatre workshops (a very good investment, btw)... :-)
Back to work!

I only checked to see if ST was up, once on Friday, three times on Sat., & once Sunday morning, then I tried to abandon ship.
I drove down to the extreme NE Nevada/NW Utah border and worked up four-wheel-drive roads to the Copper Mountain Mine. I worked around the top of Copper Mountain for a few hours looking for rocks of interest, and then car-camped on the ridge-line.
Other than two bib-overall clad (Billy-Bob) ATV riders in early evening, who chanced on my camp, I had the views all to myself. Yeah, I spoke to them in my native Billy-bob Idaho dialect and we were all friends.
Bonneville Salt Flats to the east and a distant view of the Ruby Range to the West.
One the way up the mountain, on the road/trail that I was glad to have low-range four wheel drive and some ground clearance on, I found a few unusual sights for this century.
Copper Mountain Mines from the west.
Copper Mountain Mines from the NE.
After I settled in to the high camp I discovered----OMG!! that I still was connected to the internet.
That ruined a peacefull evening in high camp, so I got high and roamed the newly restored but unchanging ST. Sigh.
Oh the views----the views were astounding.
Here's a closeup of the climbing rock in the previous photo.
I car-camped and took more photos in late evening.
and then I settled back to the car camp, some wine, and ST in the middle of nowhere. Sigh.
Sunrise over sal flats came at 6:00 A.M.
I had hoped for a "Salt Flat sunrise flash" Nope.
I hiked around a bunch more in the cool of the morning and found a pre-1900 cabin site and a handmade miner's file next to a copper specimen. Nice photo and I hope the next person by leaves it for the next person by.
There was some nice limestone scenery too.
Of course for those here who enjoy blowing holes in stuff, there were plenty of holes in stuff, and many empty cartridges. This photo, at another nearby mine is for your enjoyment.
Best Wishes!
