Hunters didn't save all these animals...laws did.

You f*#kers would have kill every last moving animal if left to your own resources.

All the animals I eat were vegetarians, so I am vicariously a vegetarian through them, for which I am sincerely grateful.

I swear I have seen that same deer driving on our mountain road.

You might be surprised how many people agree.

Braunini, you are probably correct on that, and I would not be surprised, I think, but of course, I know you are not one of them (or why else reply?). Happy 2014 and best wishes to a newbee. You'll get used to it… or leave. Your choice, I'd just as soon as you stayed.

I try to be civil on this forum, most of the time I hope I succeed, and other times I fail. But of course Braunini, I am not as perfect as you are. I am only human with foibles and idiosyncrasies. I bow to you sir.

Jonnyrig, LOL, funny post and perhaps maybe all too true.

It's like a Mad Libs, try it:

BLANK didn't save all these BLANK ... BLANK did.

You f*#kers would BLANK every last BLANK if left to your own resources.

Halloween didn't save all these pumpkins... Farmers did.

You f*#kers would have carved every last pumpkin if left to your own resources.

I think I am an ST addict. I try and tell myself, no more. Stop posting and then some inner urge (no it is not the need for a bowel movement) stops me and I still post.

I know there are some (I hope it is a minority) who would not like to hear from me. Sigh, my inner demons tell me the same.

To hunt or not to hunt that is the question…

… whether it is nobler to…

...buy a can of spam or just shoot one off the shelves…

EDIT, whoa, pumpkins. Yes we grew them and slaughtered them. Fine for pumpkin soup or pie, but I do admit, we did carve them up at Halloween and put candles in them (pyromaniacs). That's what savages do. And roasted pumpkin seeds, yum yum.

EDIT

You know, I really do not care if some people (yikes, I hope it is not the majority) do not like me or my postings. You know who you are.

I sometimes get serious. And then realize what I may have written was OTT. If some Taco Standers think I have been or am being sanctimonious, they are wrong.

Braunini...you didn't hit a nerve, your comment was stupid and had nothing to do with the discussion here.

Damn spell checks. Write something correctly (grammatically, spelling etc) and it gets changed or write something that I may have meant to express better, at least on this forum (about the only one I contribute to, perhaps occasionally the Irish Times, Washington Post, SF Chronicle or such, but not much… I never have much to say as it is)… at least on this forum I can change typos, poor grammar and stupid postings of mine. Mistakes are easy to make, sometimes harder to correct.

I never claimed to be God, Satan said I was. But why believe somebody that fell from the skies (or skis on Tahoe slopes, or is it Aspen?) to end up in Hades has anything to know about me. Wait a minute, I am an atheist, left-wing commie tree hugger… who loves elk meat.

As much as you want...you made this statement, you are wrong...Hunters give 14 BILLION a year to their wildlife management.

Sigh, some of us are singing to the choir, not changing anybody's point of view, and some of us are pilloried for our views by people who do not really know us. I think I will go cry in the corner.

Hope I do not get shot.
