I don't advocate violence, but I'm no passifist either. mdavid has said nothing that makes me think he's a thug, so I gotta say, some of you are overreacting. There's a thing called honor. Sticks and stones....that's a bunch of crap. Words do hurt. Don't hurt me, I won't hurt you. I'm not saying we should be challenging each other to a duel all the time. But mdavid is right, don't jabber off at someone, if you're not prepared to fight. Cause you may just get your ass beaten. Just a sound policy.

It's rad that the drunk suckerpuncher broke his hand. Instant Karma Gratification.
It's also rad that he came on here and fessed up, proper style. I hear Madrock shoes suck ass (feel free to send me a pair on you to disprove this, I like to climb steep boldery short bits, street size 10) but respect for coming clean.

Fantasies are usually better anyway. Dodgers, though, they will be there at the end. They're a bunch of ex-Braves, damnit.

actually it was in order to follow my ex wife so I could be close to my daughter and participate in her life.
I believe in carrying myself with honor and respecting my obligations. I don't disrespect or talk crap to people unless I'm willing to engage with them.
I'm sure there will be more personnal attacks and such from keyboard weenies who disagree with my position, ad hominum attacks are typical on all boards, pervasive during every dispute.

mdavid, how dare you call me a weenie. I'm gonna' hunt your ass down like a dog cuz I gots me an honor code.
You guys with all your tough talk...... you'd probably run off crying like a wounded queer if someone talked crap to your face.
Personally I don't think people should be talkin' crap and disrespecting each other but hey I can't control what idiots think and say. If they have a problem with me then fine, they have to live with it not me.
I think also that you are confusing fear for respect. If people are afraid of you do you think you have their respect?

I've never seen a wounded queer run however you seem to have a handle on how to excite folks to want to hit you so your training on the net is going well.
You just need to go the next step and act this way in public, for sure use the wounded queer phrase, that'll draw necessary attention. You'll anger both the sexually defensive and the gay population.
The point being that some people don't talk tough at all, they hit, knife and sometimes shoot. You don't have to be tough to hurt someone, it's all about intent. Folks who train to fight and are really dangerous don't generally look any special way.
It's important to learn to control your mouth as much as you espouse controlling your desire to physically assault another. Young men who don't learn this lesson sometimes become adults who get really beat down and hurt.
Fear and respect are totally different emotions.
Of course none of this really has anything to do with a couple guys who knew each other getting tanked and then throwing a blow.
Sucker punches typically require a sucker on both ends.......

Ha ha, that's funny, a guy who advocates violence as recourse for crap talking giving a sensitivity and PC speech. I got the phrase from my buddy's gay brother who I also consider a buddy. I admit using it is not one of my prouder moments but I thought it would project a certain image. I apologize if it I offended anyone.
So you're right, this has nothing to do with the original topic. But just to get some of the facts straight: the puncher and the punchee are not and were not friends. I'm not even sure they had ever spoken to each other before the incident. There was no history between them so you can't blame the shooting off of mouths or crap talking. It was the punchee that sent the police away since the puncher had already been tossed on the street by two witnesses who were actually in on the conversation.
Joe apologized and John accepted. 'nuf said.
