Cragman, you are wrong. He is well paid to represent a network that receives income from sponsors. I salute the decision to get this idiot off the air, although it's probably temporary. It took a lot if courage, especially knowing the vitriol that would come their way from the right wing extremists.
By the way, you find his comments reprehensible, right? Or are you conservatives just circling the wagons, per usual? Nobody plays victim better than the Fox crowd.

I guess you are unaware that they (Phil's and family) have taken many homeless into their home many folks, fed them housed them then told them god bless and good luck.
Oh, I forgot to say the race of folks they helped, but that doesn't concern me or hid family.

Cragman....yes, he voiced his opinions, but, as a public figure, it was stupid to pubicly say what he did. He was fired by his employer who feared adverse publicity. His free speech rights were fully protected, no government agency made any move against him.
The fact remains that he suffered because of capitalisim....his, for profit, employers feared an adverse economic situation should they keep him employed.

I'm having a tough time finding exactly what Whiskerino said that was offensive to anyone who isn't just looking for something to be offended by.
He says guys are naturally attracted to gals. Can't argue with that. You and I being here is proof of that.
He says he can't figure out why a guy would be sexually attracted to another guy. Is that so far out there? Plenty of gays can't imagine why anyone would be attracted to someone of the opposite sex.
He included drunkards on the same shitlist the gays found themselves on. Whiskers ( sorry, I don't know Hairy's name, and I don't feel like looking it up ) looks to me like he's either a heavy drinker right now, or was a serious drunk at one time. ( I'd bet the farm on that, having worked around drunks most of my life, I can spot them )
If he said something I missed that should outrage reasonable people, please highlight it for me, as I've honestly missed it.
That only one or two groups - out of the several he spotlighted - feel butt hurt tells me those groups want to be butt hurt.

There is no PC Movement. It's fiction. Made up by Fox, Limbaugh, et al to excuse any type of offensive behavior.
Right wing, tea party extremist and their willing accomplices in the media have moved the dial of what is acceptable to the far, far right. That, if anything, is ruining the country.

If it was a business deal to fire Phil, they would fire the rest of the family as well. This is no secret on their personal/religious beliefs.
And if it was simply business, than why are all you folks mad about a guy you never listened to or watched?
Do you just cheer seeing folks making money get slammed?

The right thing to do is still the right thing, even if just done recently. I wasn't trying to take a shot at Obama.
I figured Obama would serve as an excellent example, being a well-known progressive, of someone well into the Twenty-First Century not "getting it".
Some places aren't as enlightened as Washington DC, so it may take them longer to get it than it took our President.

Well now! I am impressed with how indignant some on this thread can be about how unjust it is that an employer can fire a worker who "screwed the pooch."
