Care to elaborate Jebus, or is "your wrong" supposed to convince me? I'm guessing no, because I can't be convinced, right? I'm too brainwashed perhaps, and you don't feel like wasting your time?
If not, then lets hear it? Instead of talking sh#t about race all the time, let's have a "real" conversation about it and stop insulting. What experiences have stuck out in your mind that are valid and show how racist America is? Perhaps if I heard some legitimate stories I might stop being so brainwashed and realize what a racist hell hole I live in. The same people that accuse of so much racism are also the ones that don't care to actually have a real conversation on race, but instead make sh#t up and insult or live in a past which completely ignores the racist history of the Democratic party, the people partly responsible for the Klu Klux Klan, remember?

Hmm" they were going after "freed mena and their allies, "white Republicans", wonder why? Maybe those Republicans weren't racist like them. Wonder what party they belonged to if they were going after black and white Republicans. Hmm couldn't have possibly been the Democrats, no, no way, It's not possible.

Lets keep race out of this. Everything we write is mere speculation.
As much as I want to write something vaguely cognizant regarding the topic at hand, I'm going to refrain, because anything I write would be either slander, misdirection, or assumption.
I'm making a point of avoiding those sorts of things, because they serve no purpose other than to make me feel good and someone else feel bad.
That's no way to live your life, online or in real time. It should be avoided.

someone finally went out at got some facts.
No way. He's a brown little drug smuggler illegal, got what he deserved. That's one likely scenario given what we now know.
This attack was clearly deliberate and likely premeditated.
Whatever his reasoning, the shooter is potentially another Aaron Alexis, but given it is Wyoming, most likely not black but a white redneck.
(hey, I can jump to stereotyped conclusions as fast as the other guy)
Next time I'm out camping in Wyoming I'm gonna pack my .38 revolver, right next to me in the tent. Or remove the Obama 2012 sticker from my car. Or both.

And Brandon, look at who brings race into these threads all the time with remarks like....

Irrelevant statements like this are made every time without anyone making a racist comment to begin with.
I wanted to address this and actually talk about it in hopes of getting somewhere so these threads don't divulge into insults about racism all the time, but I see it's completely useless. Bottom line is, if there really are that many racists on ST why is Chris or admin not getting rid of us? Are they ok with racists on his site. I'm guessing they just realize it's people using it as a way to insult others. If there were "real "racism on this site I would assume they would deal with it properly. People have been banned for less. Maybe the people know there are not" real" racists on here, they just like acting like children with meaningless insults.
It's totally annoying to me too that racial sh#t gets into everything and will end it here so we will get back on topic and keep insulting each other about race.

If you do a quick fly through this thread it is easy to find who made those remarks. I'm not even trying to point fingers at any particular person. You claim that we should "keep race out of this". Your right, we should. But as along as people keep making those types of remarks on any thread they get a chance on, it won't stop. As I said, I realize it's useless to try and have a conversation about race. I admit defeat, you win. I'm not reading between any lines. It may not seam genuine to you, and I don't blame you, you have no idea who I am besides some internet posts, but I genuinely am trying to have a "real" conversation about this so we can stop the childish crap and get somewhere. It was a dumb move on my part, but I am not ashamed of trying at least.

A tree branch landed on their tent at 2am. Woke up the girlfriend, she
peaked outside with a headlamp
saw the branch and a quiet moon lit forest and nothing, (moon sets 3:30am)
returned to sleeping bags and
minutes later something else heavy hit the tent. Both get out with
headlamps to look.
Saw a fist sized rock had hit the tent.
They see movement in bushes.
Muffled gunshot sound and man is hit in chest.
(perhaps a silencer was used?)
Man has a hole in his chest, he's bleeding, broken rib, lung is penetrated, doctors later remove a bullet. Possibly a .22

I genuinely am trying to have a "real" conversation about this so we can stop the childish crap and get somewhere.
There is no "real" conversation to have about this. It sucks... that is the only "real" thing we have to discuss. Oh, and the fact that it looks very much like an attack. Oh, and that the victim is a foreigner in an area dominated by xenophobic crackers.
There are things we know we know... those have been posted. There are things we don't know... but based on the fact that over 97% of the population in that area is white, it is a pretty safe bet the shooter was white.
Dude was a foreigner in WY. It ain't too far fetched to assume he stood out. I'm guessing the attention a foreigner attracts up there, especially a brown one, ain't all that positive.
I know a few brown skinned folks who grew up in WY. They are hella good fighters and can take a hell of a beating. Want to venture a guess as to why? That's right, the rednecks would beat the sh#t out of them on a regular basis because they were brown. Same thing happened to my brown friends near Toole, UT and La Verkin, UT.
How far is Ten Sleep from Laramie? Anyone remember Mathew Shepard?
But yeah, stop making assumptions about the good folks in Wyoming... the vast majority of whom are white.
Remember the savage Peruvians who attacked those poor folks from WY? Remember how it must have been the Peruvian's fault because they asked for papers and the visitors wouldn't provide them? This is entirely different... that was hostility towards white travelers who refused to identify themselves, this is just some random event that has nothing to do with the fact that the victim is a brown foreigner minding his own business at 2:00am in an accepted camping area.

Snowmass, learn to read. I never said ALL white people are racist. I never even said all white people in WY are racist. Fact remains, over 97% of the people in that area are white... chances are pretty good that the shooter was white. I've spent enough time working and playing up there to KNOW there are plenty of racists to go around. And anything darker than a ghost is considered colored up there.
And you don't need ALL white folks to be racist/xenophobic for this sh#t to happen... just one... and I ASSURE you, there are FAR FAR FAR more than that up there.

No, I'm sure the local tribes are well aware of the demographics. At less than 5% of the population, it is hard not to be aware of it. My brown friends found refuge on "the res"... cuz when you get your ass kicked for the color of your skin, it is best to hang around in groups.

What Rong, you've never been jumped and beaten while walking down the street minding your own business? Oh, that's right, you are white, grew up in Carson City (or similar small town) back when white was the city color, and stuck to your own kind.
