…and for anyone who cares or is in the hood, as soon as we hit the taps just meander in and mention ST and we’ll give you a pint or two on the house…

FWIW, it was I who mercifully blurred the scrotum after Loomis e-mailed the photo to me,
as genitals (especially crusty old-man genitals), should probably knott be seen on this site.
However, if you insist, I could e-mail you the original for your perusal. Cheers
to Loomis for finding that gem!

Brian, my giant-beer shot was from Sweetwater in Mill Valley, knott Lanesplitter..

Edit: I agree, the hot tub photo clearly takes the cake, does it knott?

Nice pic neversurfaced, I spent a lot of time cleaning that cliff the past few years and replacing some of the bolts. Looks like mabey Pato in the pic.

Depends on if “Pato” is person or place. If you’re referring to people, I’m manning the beer belay and my buddy Daniel is the one who looks as if he’s lost a contact lens on route.
If you’re referring to the local, it very well could be. It’s off the road heading out of PN towards the park / Rio Turbio. Two or three routes on a detached boulder of the 10b / 10c variety. I asked Dani who bolted the routes and I think he said something about bored Italians who were hiding from the wind…?

Neveresurfaced- The place is called Dorotea, the specific boulder is Punta Buque, I lived in one of those blue roofed cabins for a couple of seasons, the ones right before where you hop the fence to walk back there. Those are not the only routes there. There is one 3 pitch 5.10a and one that tops out on the formation put up by Christian Oyarzo called Waiting for the Sun like 5.9 A2 no repeats. Theres also a few other crappy short trad and aid lines to cut your teeth on there. Is that Daniel the local who works for Bigfoot? or a friend of yours? Daniel, Pato and I lived in that house and frequented that area, thats why I thought it was mabey he who showed it to you. The original bolts where put in by Canadians I belive 5 years ago and we added a couple like 3 years ago.

http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/plab/showphoto.php?photo=10070&size=big&sort=1&cat=500 here is a picture taken from the base of waiting for the sun, our house is visible next to the road the two blue dots.

See, even Jesus is down with the suds!

Jack- Yeah Daniel D. is the one in the photo, still works for Bigfoot although the future of the company is questionable. He and his wife are good friends of my family; we ran into each other a few years ago in JT and they ended up living with us in LA for about 6 months. Assuming that was you in the photo you linked, I’m guessing you knew Dani from the NOLS days. Drop me a private e-mail some time – neversurfaced@msn.com

When Bryan got finished with the Zodiac clean up, I brought him an Arrogant Bastard, some sort of high octane Porter, Vertical Epic, and some other remotely appropriate brew. We met in El Cap Meadows with a full moon. The dude kept looking for his tall Budweiser. You just can’t explain some behaviors.

I gotta say the rbolton Tenaya Lake Arrogant Bastard photo is truly superb. Like the brew.
