hey there, say, DOUGGIE/ (okay, i got it now) = patrick and all...
say, me, like lynne, i reach my hand out to jesus, but whatever it is that we find for our anchor, i can say this:
until we DO feel settled on our path, and solid enough to know which direction to go, etc... we need and make bridges that help us over the awful rough spots...
some need their own type of walls, others need their own doors (to withdraw through, and then come back out, as needed) ... others need songs and music, and others need journals to write in... and some just need bigger windows, for to see how it goes for others and thus to glean for ourselves...
we all chose the best way to handle things...
i think that is what is wonderful about the taco camp fire here...
we can see and learn about each other and the hows and why that make us
'keep on trucking' or:
the things that want to drag us down and 'trick us' into quitting...
we can encourage each other to hang in there and not give up...
then, whether it is god, or whatever else folks feel is best, we will
be glad, later that we DID NOT give up, as that hope shines on us, and
we see that new days, do give new looks, and or friends, or opportunities
for BETTERMENT of some kind...
hang in there patrick and do no let the bad situations 'trick you' into thinking you have to give up, or that you will never make it...
however, hee hee, i will say, when you DO feel that you can't make it,
god really is there to take your hand, and THEN it is a lot easier than
all the bridges that we NEED OR NEEDED to make... :)
however, too, if god is not the way for you at this time, keep up them
bridges... they DO keep one from being swept away with the things that
try to whirl our mind and spirit...
we need to make it through all the muck, to even BE here TO SEE the new sunrises of hope, each day, >:D<
