My stairs are suitable for climbing.
So no.... ;)

Seriously though, a boulder is not a crag.

Crag n. A steep rugged rock projecting upward or outward.

So, in the case of that choss posted, yes. That rock Sodamanizer is climbing was NEVER a boulder. It is a piece of (correct me if I'm wrong) obducted ophiolite... i.e. bedrock choss.

When does a boulder become a crag?
Is berkeley's Indian rock a crag?

Perhaps a question worth arguing about in a completely new and useless thread....

I climbed another V7 "crag" today. Suck it. ;)

Where you at A-train?

I see Bishop' Peak back there, almost made me like San Luis Obispo, if it wasn't for crappy central coast weather

I was under the impression that Vacaville basalt was part of the Lovejoy lava flow.
I've also been told it's pillow basalt (ophiolite) as meatchrist stated. Anyone know for sure?

You're right, a boulder is not a crag. But a bunch of (climbable) boulders all in a given area = a crag. Especially when it's all you got;)

You're just being all hard to get because you got Bishop in your backyard ya greedy sumbitch!;) Of which I'd like to go "cragging" soon.
