Maybe 6 years back my son at 16 or 17 was soloing something on the tower and was running a day behind on getting in touch after he finished. I wrote Werner via ST, as a stranger since I bet he doesn't remember me showing him some guitar licks back in the mid-70s, to ask if he'd check on John.
An hour later I got an e-mail. Werner had gone down valley, looked around and concluded the boy must be down. A little while later I heard from John after he finished the deproach with his bags and got to some connectivity.
Werner is a good man.

How did a Werner appreciation thread drift into street fighting?
Jody, I think Werner was there to go Kali on your ass, you know, only if you needed it. Werner, polite enough to stand in for others.
Jody, glad to see you resolved the conflict in yourself. Also, pre-emptive apology, if i'm being presumptuous, to possibly resolve conflict in others.

Jim, my whole career and most of my life has been spent resolving conflicts. Sometimes, my life depended on it.
It probably started with all hell breaking loose with a brother and then progressed from there.
