You write
"Keep me warm anywhere you go"
I've been hearing all these freakin decades:
"Keep me warm, let me wear your coat"
etymology:
"They've killed the lord and laid him on the green"
misquoted as "They've killed the lord and Lady Mondegreen"
studies have been made, catalogs compiled.
They mostly come from songs.
