Seriously? Soon after the first time Fatty was banned, his office got burglarized. He gave the cops CM's name. He bragged about it via messages to a few people here. He joked that he would have his "revenge." IMHO, that was a total dick move! It was just one of many from Fatty. For that and a lot of other reasons, I am glad to see his lying, trolling ass kicked to the curb.

Fatty's presence here was like a turd in a punchbowl. Seldom did he post anything that was not political, and the vast majority of his political and non-political post were either meant to intentionally annoy others, or to inflate his ego and further his delusions. Someone up-thread mentioned the lack of a self-corrective mechanism in this online world. I am glad that CM has acted and "corrected" Fatty.

Most of the bans the last few months match what's already being blocked by my greasemonkey script :-)

edit - i've never blocked Rokjox though.

He has helped a number of our community without doing any chest beating about it.

Jeff contributed $500, out of his own pocket, to the YCA to keep the Ask a Climber program going when there was no $$$ from any other source. For that I thank him.... as far as his posts on the Taco... I don't pay much attention to peoples political or personal posts so I never really noticed what he was about... maybe more people should just ignore religious and political posts as they are always divisive. After all this is supposed to be a climbing site ... I think?!

Had nothing to do with pc. It was personal attacks on Norton. Wouldn't be tolerated anywhere, no matter what the politics or how much one gives dollars.

Here's the list of fattrads repetitive quote attacks. Take a look at the latest one. He had even more drug accusations to Norton. He was asked to stop many times.

How do we know Norton left?

Did he say something on facebook?

looking back on Norton's posts he's posted every day. except today. On average he posted about 10 times a day. And then that last post and silence?

I consider myself reasonably tolerant and fattrad was only the SECOND person on this forum that I actually got totally sick and tired of...

A. Crowley of course remains #1 (though #2 might fit better if you catch my drift)...
