Awesome. I'm fiendishly plotting for my first opportunity to use 'scrote show'. Sadly I'm not in the classroom this fall (I am CRUSHED - NOT!!) so I can't share it with my students. The shame.
In general, getting hammered is rare at the HHs. One time Eeeyonkee got a bit tipsy and nearly killed Locker with all Locker's laughing. And during Prod and Christa's HH, I must have had a reaction to my margarita... or maybe the reaction is known as "intoxication." I was bit slurpy that night. Heh heh. Still, it's rare.
And actually a fair number of people drink water, coffee of club soda (my favorite) at these events.
I will warn, there may be some embellishment of any goings on during the supertopo follow-up of the HH. :)

Imperial is great midweek, but on a Saturday night there will be a line to get in and packed to overflowing with the under 25 crowd. Just a thought.
Maybe St. James Infirmary? Has the option for being outside at the rooftop deck/bar, as well as the main bar.
Or...... COM ROW...............bars, nigthclub AND a bouldering gym, all under the SAME roof and a 160'+ climbing wall on the outside........where else coud you sit at the bar while watching your drunk buddies boulder 15' away......hmm.
Should have seen the place for the (largest in the world) downtown Santa Crawl..............drunken Santas and scantily clad Santas helpers and bouldering......only in Reno.......
I plan on coming regardless of the venue.

I don't know Seth....having those Reno climbers at your house....The next thing you know they'll be bouldering on your refrigerator and pissing in the sink, Hell they probably won't even have the decency to take the dishes out first.

Does anyone have a better idea of where to go it seems that they have a large party that night at the Peak.
We could do Imperial Lounge or Slice of Peak or.......
Thre is a new spot opening in the old choclate bar Brewers Chest its called. All ideas are welcome.
I've never been to any of them.
The Imperial Lounge...Looks too hip for our crowd ;)

Slice of Peak...looks casual

And I think you meant the Brewers Cabinet? Silver, you could walk home from there!

Oh, I bet it's only a partial tear. If it were full - you'd know! Ask BN how his looked when he totally ripped it off his radius. NOT PRETTY! :)
Definitely will be climbing. See you then Radicockblocklocker

I blew out my left distal bicep tendon trying to flag last week...partial tear
Only a climber could say something like this, and only a climber could get it.
Heal up fast, Riley.

Bobocker - Best guess is the 14th though we may go to the Mobile more than one day. We'll be camping in Tuolumne or that campground new Tioga Pass Resort (may have messed up that name).
Riley- BN was a vegetarian for years and stopped due to a lot of soft tissue injuries. I certainly don't know, but it seems any tear is better than plucking it clean off the radius at its attachment like BN did. Gnarly! Hope yours feels better soon...
And as far as climbing - it's a climbing trip - there will be climbing. Silver is in charge of where exactly at Donner Summit. I know we'll be climbing...

Let's ask the folks coming in, what they are looking for to climb and then supply a list...Ariel is awesome, if you're up for medium 11 face. Peter Principle is a perfect example of moderate 5.11 crack. But some of the folks coming in may want something harder or easier, it's all good, tell us indigent locals what you want to climb and we can make some suggestions.
5.6 Insidious crack (harder then it looks) up to 5.12 Panic in detroit...or if you are true a sporto hit star walls and experience some real vert.
One Hand clapping on Black wall is always a treat at 5.9( an easy .9 for Donner grades, do the bird closures affect this area?), and the classic stuff ( short but awesome) at Goldilocks wall.
What are you folks looking for?
I can't believe that I said classic for Goldilocks wall, it's bolted ( thank God) but Goldilocks ( I think Crimper would enjoy this route) and Papa Bear are just great fun climbs.Papa bear really isn't that fun , but it will test your mettle.

Aron, Aron, Aron, most of the grades at Donner are interesting. The harder it usually gets the closer to the true grade. I feel some of the "easy" routes 5.6 and 5.7 are about a grade or two sandbagged. I think Papa bear is also sandbagged.
Some of the 5.9 grades are extremely interesting. Where as Goldilocks and Peter's are about spot on for the grade. Just my humble worthless opinion.
Aron are you up for some Poker on the 11th or 12th. I'm trying to organize some cards.
Crimper do you and BN need a place to hang? I have three bed rooms and my wife and I only occupy 1, Radical gets first dibbs on the second , but if you can handle Dawgs( Aussies and a Lab), you can hang here for a few.
