I agree that it is mostly a two headed coin at this point, with very few truly good people in politics. But I also believe that McCain would have gotten us into WW3.

Philo,, Ron is so much clearer then Lois. Lois would vote Republican no matter who they run. Ron has said he won't vote republican.

Obama is not a disappointment to me, I understand the sh#t he was left and sh#t he has to work with in the Congress.

Dumb fuks...Obama doesn't introduce laws/bill, he can only veto or approve them.

The conservative Repuiblican spokesman

It's interesting how everyone who makes a fringe-appearing comment becomes a spokesman for the political party that appears closest to them. Still, my reaction is the same: the only entertainers' opinions that matter are those of candidates for public office. Otherwise, entertainers have the right to their opinions, and fans have the right to alter their preferences for or against entertainers based on those opinions.

When you look at what? The Cabal has done almost everything in their power to attack and discredit his every action.

You're describing the cabal attaching George W. Bush?

LOLOL!!!111:

Mitt Romney endorser Ted Nugent will meet with the Secret Service Thursday as a followup to his incendiary comments at an NRA convention over the weekend. In an interview with Glenn Beck, Nugent again said the comments were not meant as a threat to anyone..."

“We actually have heard from the Secret Service and they have a duty. I support them. I salute them. And I look forward to our meeting tomorrow,” he said. “I‘m sure we’ll have a great conversation…bottom line is, I‘ve never threatened anybody’s life in my life. I’ve never threatened. I don’t waste breath threatening.”

He continued, going on to reiterate his respect for the law enforcement officials.

“We’re going to have a little barbecue get together,” he said. “And I’m not trying to diminish the seriousness of this, because if the Secret Service are doing it they are serious. They are dedicated and I will be as polite and supportive as I possibly can be, which will be thoroughly.”

"It's interesting how everyone who makes a fringe-appearing comment becomes a spokesman for the political party that appears closest to them."

John, the fact is, these people do become a de facto voice for their Party. In Nugent's case, he is courted by Tea Partiers to speak at political rallies. That's politics, and that is a voice for their party.

Your view that only those in office have a voice that should be considered is an honorable one, but not particularly based in reality. What's equally interesting is how those in office oftentimes won't disavow or at least distance themselves from some of the really grimy comments that some of these whackos will make.

Not those in office, but those running for office. Otherwise, an entertainer's political beliefs (and, as to say, usually rantings) have no particular claim to my attention.

The really slimy thing about the way the Parties deal with whacko rantings is how they won't disavow or distance themselves, but it's also clear they welcome the support those comments engender amongst the inflamed, extremists in their Party. Politicians know damn well that any publicity is good publicity, and a vote is a vote, no matter how they get it.

Philo.... that was last election.

Got anything fresh???

I am always shocked when someone points out the fact that the president is somehow powerless. But in the next breath they blame a previous president for the bad things.

We are all climbers here, we know what the job of a LEADER is.

Guyman, they were in reference to the post about McShame tanking the economy and starting WW3 if elected.
Do you expect me to crank off a new 'toon every time someone says something good?
Sheesh! I suppose I should just do it for free too? You must be a liberatarian.

So the decision to throw three trillion dollars down a hole in the sand while simultaneously slashing taxes on the rich and encouraging everyone to shop away was an Obama leadership decision? And that the inevitable economic consequences and outfall of that decision likewise is a result of Obama policies?
