huh. I saw a couple of roaches in my time in Tucson, but never bigger than an inch or two. Now, those Palo Verde beetles. Man, the first time I saw one of those, I thought my head was going to explode.

if i saw a 5" cockroach I'd pull out my .44 special. a hollow point should take care of a monster like that. I do get 2" roaches on occasion. disgusting creatures. won't miss 'em.

Growing up in Houston, I had more interactions with the cursed Palmetto Bugs (aka roaches). MFers would fly AT you. Get in your clothes. Crawl on your bed at night. Nightmare material. The single best thing about moving from Houston was leaving those exoskeleton nightmares behind.

Looks like Michelle is out. She has to stay in Baltimore for a few more days and deal with the house fire BS.
Does anyone have two mini traxions they might be willing to let me borrow for a couple weeks (until I return to Denver later in the month)? I can't leave Tucson without doing two climbs. I need 'em for the cables on Picacho Peak ;-) and as this is Tucson and three and a half years later I still don't have a climbing parter... err... I want to top rope Lizard Marmalade before I leave. No way am I growing the sack to lead it in the next couple weeks.

It's actually knot as I'm heading east on 10. but yes, I appreciate you not chopping it. I'd find some way to personally retaliate in a way that would make you "butt hurt" as you so eloquently put it. I could chop the red route at the gym.
I might do it the morning of the 11th. it's the same day I get my lil' ol' tattoo finished.
