"The Granite Mountain Wilderness is located..Just a few miles northwest of the city of Prescot Sitting high on the south flank of Granite Mountain (the areas highest peak at 7626 feet) is the areas largest cliff... nicknamed "Arizona's little big wall". This wall...is split with many fine cracks. Throw in a few bold face climbs and a 50 foot roof and you've got what is arguably Arizona's finest multi-pitch climbing crag."

I did a nice hike up to the base some years ago when we were on a road trip. Didn't have time to climb anything on that trip, but the rock sure looked beautiful.

1987 declared one of the top 10 American crags by Mountain Magazine. To even be considered tells you how good it is...
