Jay's Back to Cowboys foto:
Definitely Veedauwoo, Mainstreet is the OW just right of center.

It looks like a drunken rope swing affair is taking place...
Perhaps people are doggin' all over "Panther of the Week" 13a
(I only know this 'cause I am cheating, looking in the guide).

Hardman: I 'Never been to the Gunks!
"A Loser I Am" Yoda would say.

Can't Say: Speaking of Yoda,
I can't Say what Mike Paul is Bouldering There...

Route #79,
Let's Compare Pics:
Yes JayBro, Primrose Dihedral.
'Used the Direct Start.
Randy Joseph was there and had just given up...

Right to left from the steep dihedral
Mainstreet 10a OW -where Barber showed me the light on wide climbs
Crack out of corner roof = Bell crack (caka Coke Bottle) 10+ flare
Board walk 5.11 flared thin hands-was my first 11 lead, till Mr Piton said it didn't count because it has a hanging belay. thinking about it though, it's 5.11 off the belay, so I'm staying true to my first.
The two arching knob jobs; light from blue horses & Panther of the weak

The event was a U of Wyo vertical dance project rehersal, Summer of '03(?) We arrived to a mass clusterf--- and pounding, original music. We climbed around the corner (Horn's Mother & 4th of July) to the accompanment of something that sounded like the theme from star Trek, a very strange day!

above look familiar.

I'm such a jackass. That picture of Lembert reminded me of last summer. Iwas working down behind lembert, filling in a trail that became a drainage, and there were two dudes who came with big wall racks and spent 5-6 hours on crying time, I sh#t you not. So when the second finishes the last pitch and his belayer yells "off belay" I called out to myself (and not that loud, or so I thought)
"Finally"....
Then he yells "I'm not talking to you!!!"
Hilarious.

wildone: funny!

Jay: Boardwalk a fave for sure. what's that thing left of horn's mother, 4th of July? 'Lead that on site clean in '91, in my stetson and skinner was their prolly working on that 13teeny bolted thing going right out of horns. I think he felt upstaged...

Heres the clue to the above:
The upper pic is like pitch 4, you can see it up near the top of this here pic-chure.

I agree werner, that's why I started with the pic just above, taken on the tight hands pitch before the OW.

This is the dead give away pic for sure!

Tar,
been a while since one could drive out to the N rim of Taylor where the Moses group was visible.
How long do you think the flakes and columns will stay put on Primrose?...

That's a proud onsight, Tar! (When I attepmted the onsight about a decade earlier I met with less satisfactory results, my mileage varied)You definitely upstaged Skinner. On that climb you mentioned that weasel put a bolt within clipping range of Horn's Mother.

Hey Werner is it safer these days to get on the goodbook? That climb is about as classic Yosemite crack as it comes.
