Somehow I doubt that a day with Chris Sharma would have any effect on the Murdoch family. They're sleazy crooks.

I will take some of that money from Citibank. All money is dirty anyways, and usually coated with drug residue.
Isn't climbing a selfish activity at any rate?

If it bothers MTool it must be a good thing.

Good for you, Alex!

It shouldn't bother anyone who's ever taken money from the Federal Government.

We all know the gruesome, mean-nasty things they've had a hand in.

I generally agree with your position on things, but I have to say, and with all due respect.. there are a number of threads up now that have gotten so nasty with personal conflict that you are usually an energetic half of. I suspect I am not alone as someone who might post thoughtful comments but are really turned off by the personal attacks between you and skipt, chaz, and others and just stay away...Why not stay on topic, and battle it out with thoughtful posts, and keep the personal attacks off the threads. As with all conflicts, de-escalation begins at home...

Ditto, I bet you are a real nice person in person Phil. Take it easy on the screaming and name calling will ya. Study a Karl Baba post, he gets the info out in a way that he can actually change a few minds to his viewpoint, and you still want to tie in with him afterwards.

BTW, I'd like to thank Mtucker for linking the video. If he hadn't framed it in a contentious manner, we would have had nothing to add and it would have dropped off the front page in 10min or less LOLZ.

Warm regards to all

If only a tone of voice could be heard over the intertron. I dont think most of this stuff would be said in an angry narrative. I think most comments would be followed by a chuckle. At least thats what I hear coming from down stairs often times when that "as#@&%e" posts. Just sayin...

To clarify, that was the fee per day. It was more like 5 days. And don't underestimate Chris' ability to influence folks profoundly. The same son has recently started distancing himself considerably from the rest of the clan.

I think commercials like this one are great as they bring much needed money into the climbing world. I hope that someday climbers make as much as other athletes.

Does anyone criticize Michael Jordan for selling Fruit of the Loom and making 5 times as much as AH and KB?

It's been my experience that you climb better when you have enough money to eat and buy new equipment. You're a lot healthier then too!

I just realized,... if Werner says that MTucker is not Lobo (and, though at times totally deluded, Werner doesn't lie) that means that Werner knows who MTucker is.

He's just a kid who happens to be the very best in his chosen field. If he happens to make a living out of it eventually, well then I say great! Maybe all of you who think that is bad can go "occupy Utah."

Rather than giving Citibank money by using their services Alex and Katie took money from them, albeit indirectly.
Maybe that's why Alex is laughing in the commercial.
I think that's cool.
