Get to declare another KARRIMOR unknown model quite slim and way too durable.

More than I want to count.

Did however, lose a bitchen' Karrimor years ago. Dougal Haston special was the model. Great pack.

Always one too few.

In order of age:
Ancient Kelty "climbing" daypack. circa 1974. threadbare. Currently used to store equally ancient ice gear.
Lowe Alpine Expedition, Gen II. CA 1985. A Big Beast but still good for rough travel and long ski tours. Replaced the old green one because it has a better harness.
Lowe Alpine "crag pack" 1986. 35 liters. Great pack for all day rock/ice climbing/ ski tours. Beat to heck. Tape covering multiple worn spots and the insults from hungry varmints grabbing a free lunch. Still use it sometimes when I need a "beater".
BD "Ice" 40 liter pack 2004. Tough as nails. Replaces the Lowe crag pack.
BD Bullet 2005. Great little pack but not big enough and too heavy.
BD 55 liter "alpine" pack 2008. Tough, lightweight, carries great. Not so great for strapping stuff outside.
MountainSmith super lightweight daypack 2011. Bigger than the Bullet, carries more, stuffs small. My new favorite day pack. First time I have to haul it might destroy it.

Packs I've passed on to others
Sierra Designs frame pack. CA 1970. First trip was down a seldom traveled canyon to the Colorado River. Skied through 2 feet of fresh Sierra Cement to Ostrander Hut, cursing it the entire way.
Millet "Rucksack". Uncomfortable, poor for skiing. ugh!
Lowe Alpine Expedition Gen I: green with built in bivvy sack. I miss that sack!

Added a couple to my gear room recently...
Won a 40L Cilogear in a raffle, it's now my gear bag. And just ordered a Coaxsher SR-1 Endeavor for SAR.
