Did Noah have a fleet? A supposed petrified hull of ship with barnacles uncovered as global warming melts snows on mountain in Iran.

http://thewildernessroad.blogspot.com/2010/12/noahs-ark-found-in-iran.html

Jennie,

Wow! Thanks for posting that.

I hadn't heard this story of this discovery yet. Wow, amazing.

Even the research scientific world is seeking them out and are bubbling with awe and enthusiasm for what they have found.

The remains of a massive ship at 13,000'+ on a mountain in Iran. The wood is petrified, with saltw#ter barnacles and even some fossilized saltw#ter worms that have burrowed into the wood.

The timbers have pitch between them.

Also, fossilized animal dung with the DNA from many animals that are from different climatic, and habitat regions that are unrelated. The dung had Animal hair (from 3 different species of large wild cats), feathers, seeds etc. and all was found in the fossilized dung in the corner on a floor section of the petrified wooden ship.

They have the climbing and research film footage and 1000s of images of what they have found. They also smuggled remains from the site. They have sent the samples to 5 different reputable University labs. The labs are very excited about what they have found.

Off the record and promising not to mention their names, some scientists from these secular labs have told them they think they have finally done it. They think that they have found Noah's Ark.

What is certain and indisputable is that they have found an old petrified wooden ship on a high mountain in Iran that indeed carried animals of all kinds.

Wow, I'm floored. Very cool. If everything they have said and have presented is true and not falsified I think they did it too. I think they have finally found the "real" Ark. I think they may have really found it. Stunning and incredible.

REALLY?!?!?!

You obviously didn't read anything else that has been posted regarding to the "discovery" in Iran.

Again, you only read what validates your beliefs.

LOL

Rather than attack personally Paul, post it up.

Or do you not know how to properly debate?

Post up what you think are the criticisms and then leave it at that.

Other evidence that seems to corroborate the discovery, they have found is the fact that genetically the oldest grapes that they can trace come from this region. Also the oldest modern horses can be genetically traced to this same region.

Interesting.

It's rather boring.

Attacking the poster, in this case, is the correct course of action.

I give you a new acronym, a new word, that will help to identify these ST offenders . . .

STUASSM

(SuperTopo Unintellectual Attack Squad Select Member. Can be pronounced Stew-ass-m)

Those who participate in this are practicing STUASSMism.

The membership of this select squad on ST is growing, unfortunately.

I've stumbled upon an interesting (possible) connection regarding Astronaut Jim Irwin, Apollo 15, the massive mothership on the back-side of the Moon, and the search for Noah's Ark. This is a speculative connection.

Apollo 15 Astronaut James (Jim) Irwin, was the first Astronaut to drive the Lunar Rover on the Moon.

Apollo 15 Command Module orbited while the Lunar Module went to the surface. It was at this time that many fantastic panoramic images of the Lunar surface were taken . . .

"Command Module Pilot Alfred Worden orbited the Moon, using a Scientific Instrument Module (SIM) in the Service Module to study the lunar surface and environment in great detail with a panoramic camera, gamma ray spectrometer, mapping camera, laser altimeter, mass spectrometer, and lunar sub-satellite deployed at the end of Apollo 15's stay in lunar orbit (an Apollo program first)."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_15#Scandals

During this time these famous (infamous) stereo-pair images were taken:

Apollo 15 AS15-P-9630 (stereogram image):
http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/frame/?AS15-P-9630

Is it possible that Jim Irwin and Commander David Scott were both told of the massive object that Alfred Worden had taken images of? I can't imagine Worden not telling them of the massive object. Perhaps they all knew of it prior to the mission and that was a mission objective to get even better images of this massive object. Perhaps they even saw it with there own eyes as Worden did on one of many orbits around the Moon. Many images of the massive object, or "Mothership" were taken during this Apollo 15 mission.

It is very interesting that when Astronaut Jim Irwin (a Christian) returned to Earth, he devoted himself to looking for Noah's Ark. He was very involved in the search. Is there a connection? An inspiration from what they (he) saw and found on the Moon? Perhaps a message even?

My speculation:
"Hey, I can't tell the world what I saw on the backside of the Moon, NASA won't allow it, but I can sure look for Noah's Ark when I get back to Earth. Maybe intuitive types will find that curious and wonder why an Apollo Astronaut starts looking for Noah's Ark after returning from the Moon."

Maybe. I wonder?

Astronaut Jim Irwin knew of the Iran Noah's Ark but never got to see it for himself before he died. His very good friend and fellow adventurer Bob Cornuke started BASE after he died and has carried on. They made the startling discovery on Mt. Solemon in Iran, of a petrified wooden ship at 13,000+ with pitch between the wooden beams, DNA from many different unrelated animals in fossilized dung, and scientists confirming that the oldest grapes and modern horses genetically originate from the valley below this mountain in Iran. Amazing.

"The team discovered the prominent boat-shaped rocks at just over 13,000 feet (4,000 meters) on Mount Suleiman in Iran's Elburz mountain range."

This posted a few days ago ...

The true Ark is in New Mexico on the Navajo Nation.

... was close. New Mexico? Yes. But further south ... about 45 minutes outside the city of Las Cruces (duh!). Right here:
