They make a hamster smoke a piece of hash the size of a coffee table and then wonder why it won't run on the wheel.
"Hey schmuck, you wanna see me run on the wheel gimme some speed!"

Yesterday I ate lunch at a deli next to a medical marijuana store in San Francisco. If you ever want to quit smoking weed just sit and watch the people going in and out of places like that. You'll get scared straight.

Rokjox, you're falling into the trap that all people do when they rationalize something they are doing. I have to believe that most "smartest people" don't smoke pot and the "80 percent of supertopians smoke pot" is a greatly exaggerated figure.

Maybe 80% of supertopians have smoked pot at some point in their lives but to say that 80% have a current habit is most likly eronious. Pate, the reason I can't spell fer sh#t is I smoked too much of that stuff in high school.
Amazeing how much you miss when you are all f*#ked up in nature. You think you see more but often you actually see and experience less...

...can't resist adding my opinion/perspective....
Think of something you wish you were better at. It could be math, foreign language, brain surgery, replacing your brake pads, finding the rap anchors in the dark. Just choose something you want to do well but seem to have a lot of trouble being good at. Then smoke pot and try it stoned. In my extensive experience of being stoned its always more difficult to complete an already difficult task if I am stoned.

Yep.
The insidious effect of habitual use though seems to be arrested development of emotional /intellectual maturity.
For the cohort my age, we were introduced to it in our late teens or early twenty's, (college age) the cohorts after us at increasingly earlier ages.
It's one thing to be an emotionally twenty something thirty year old, (not uncommon sans pot) and quite another to be thirty something with a fourteen year old brain.
