For Easter we did a route on the Rabbit Ears on Wheeler Crest.
There were a few fun, cozy sections.
There was more flared stuff up high. With some fun runout easy face in between. At 5.9, first climbed by Doug Robinson and Galen Rowell in the 70's, This would definitely be considered a non-modern route.
Almost didn't post this photo due to embarrassment about the 3 pieces so close together. I've aided with less gear. I guess I was so excited to get gear in.

There was a photo probably taken by Rowell of DR on the Smokestack which appeared in a book or likely on a cover. Boy, what a great Easter you had there!
Lollie, we're all pretty revolting on occasion. Long Friday, Largo, get it?

Happy Easter! My son was born on Easter Sunday in 1991 (March 31). He has always, even twenty five years later, insisted he should have two birthday celebrations (except when it falls on the 31st every once in awhile).
I do miss setting up the egg hunts.
Enjoy a lovely day everyone!
Susan
