Ever seeing Coarse and Buggy on the the Bartlett guide I've wanted to climb it, it looks like a great route, but saddly its always been way above my paygrade.

Whats the name of the route the woman is leading??

I did not take any photos, but it was very much a first ascent.

The NPS has an effort going to restore portions of the Quail burn. They have marked out test plots for testing of a seed ball approach that may work when a site is too remote to allow watering. Yesterday we carried over some three miles many hundreds of pounds of seeds fabricated by kids in public schools . And distributed them over the plots that will be monitored over the next five years.

The young kids went out of their way to give this old relic a lighter load, trying to disguise their intention the whole time. It was sort of funny but sad in a personal way.

They are going again tomorrow at 8AM. We have wonderful youngsters. We need to help them preserve our Park.

I did my first trad climb while in JTree...
This pic was taken right after I reached the top.
I remember looking out at the rocks, thinking of my mom, proud to be her daughter.

Good F*#king Times Man!!!…

All that looks to have been a blast even had a blast looking at the shots… involuntary muscle contractions occur when I imagine being on those climbs in those shots….

Thanks Jefe and Leggs

Cheers

Edit:
"Photo evidence of bad spotting" HA!

I was thinking "Thanks for the spot" caption contest.

I've stood in this exact spot.

Took a leak on the seismo to see if it would register a 5.6...on the BAC scale.
