Hey everyone....Sorry i have not posted anything up in a while...I have been playing the waiting game with all of the suppliers. The wrenches should be ready to ship in a week or so. The Company that is making the grips is "way behind schedule" so I do not have a lead time on those. I have the collets, cable, tube, swages, collet nuts sitting in my shop.
The new drill bodies should be here soon
I got to try out the re-machined drills, I think that they will work just fine. I have been wavering on if I want to have the first batch corrected and pick those up as well. This would drop the price down for everyone but then I would have almost 2 batches of drills to unload after everyone here on Supertopo gets theirs.
I was hoping for everyone to have their drills by now, This whole process has been a learning curve.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up...sorry not a ton of news.
Thanks,
Luke

I remain on the maybe list. It sounds like there will be a good supply that'll be sold via simon's site. So chances are pretty good that if I go for one I'll get it from his site. I guess I'm saying to not go out of the way to prep one for me. I feel lazy at the moment. Maybe Thailand will motivate me.

I'll take one if any are left.
I gotta give this HSS thing a whirl. If it really drills faster than the SDS rig I got, than I'm all for it.
Put me on the list, please.

The grips are in my shop now. I Have all of the parts now and will start getting these put together asap. There are plenty left to go around so there is some available if anyone still wants one.
The assembly process is going to be documented in the D5/Hurricane build thread (link is one the 1st post)
Thanks!
