In the late 70's and early 80's I was on RMRU. My wife Nancy was nice enough to "volunteer" during our monthly trainings. Here, we were practicing one runner pick-ups and we are loading her in a litter and she was tied to the outside runner of Don Landels (RIP) helicopter. She thought Don was going to move back a little, then come back in so we could take her off. She did't realize that we had arranged for a "ride". Definitely an A ticket ride.
We also lowered her down the Weeping Wall at Suicide. Some of you may recognize Jim Fairchild (RIP) in this picture.
And we are still married after 32 years!
