Chicago has won the Stanley Cup for 2010, their first since 1961. They won tonight in overtime over Philadelphia. When they last won, Bobby Hull was their star player.

Finally we get Pierce on fire, and the bench stepped it up.

When the Celtics start firing on all cylinders, the Lakers will go down hard.

I just wish the games ended before midnight here on the right coast. I need my beauty sleep! (boy, do I need it...)

boy that was a great game last night! celtics need to keep taking it to the hoop and be aggressive, if they continue to do this and Bynum is slowed by his knee injury, lakers will lose game 6 @ home and Celtics will win on the road..

When both teams show up, Celtics rule!!! Shades of 2008 all over again...

They should be running ads where the Laker greats are seen losing grasp of the NBA trophy in slow mo as it eventually comes to rest in a lush bed of clover!!! Noooooooooooooooooooo....yessssssssssss!

Go Celts!

Game 4 was a nail biter . . . the Celtics shooting percentage was pretty grim in the first three quarters. I was starting to doubt their potential to shut those f#*&@!ng Lakers down. Doc Rivers had the right attitude and kept his boys from doubting themselves. Then that bench showed up in the fourth and turned things all around. Glen Davis possesses amazing desire! The Celtics have all the tools they need to win this thing and I can't wait to see that punk Kobe walk off the court empty handed.

Shout out to Jefe who undoubtedly knows about the Bill Walton and GD connection.

Kaliomn, yes, Walton is/was one of the most famous Heads. In his Coach Woodengoodbye the other night he dropped some GD references.
Really, in my above post I was referring to Jerry breaking up the team and Phil hittin the road. Also we got Pate, Jaybro, and Grossman in the house!

Usually when I'm not invested in either team I route West Coast. This time I am firmly on the side of the Celtics! Hey Now!!!

It ain’t over till the Big Baby drools.
Lots of trash talking by the Celts, plenty of motivation for the Lakers locker-room. Look for a physical game five.

Props to Doc Rivers for keeping the 2nd string in when they were rolling. Bold coaching. Great game last night.

Shout out for Rasheed's D on Gasol, too.

Isn't it fun to route against the Lakers who spent 61% more money on payroll (highest in the NBA) than, say, the Trailblazers? That's about $35,543,000 more. Reminds of a MLB team in NY. . . .

Big Baby Wipes-(Jalen Rose). I thought after a couple of T's it was gonna go ugly but DF and KB both missed (?).

I saw Bill Walton on a giant Converse sneaker float at a Chinese New Year's dead show eons ago, but that is a different matter entirely.

MAhole, I haven't heard that one for years.
