Sometimes the picture that tells a story comes literally from the SuperTopo web pages. But what is the story???????

I wonder if insurance would have helped climbers in Yosemite BITD when this pic was taken...
When we were hiking out of Afghanistan's Hindu Kush, almost the first locals that we met on the trails said, "Nixon whisstt!" and ran their hands across their throats. It was their way of telling us that he'd resigned, tho they couldn't know that it was our wish come true, except we REALLY DID WANT HIM IMPEACHED AND JAILED!!

Interesting,
The letters covered spell out "Dead."
There is only one area code ending in "27."
727
And it is Florida.
Would have thought it would be 666?
Edit.
Your are right.
Lord.
So why the area code?

A relative just forwarded us this pic from Colorado. Can you guess the story this tells?

Well, acording to cousin Audrey, who literally wrote the "Naturalist's Guide to the Southern Rockies" it was indeed a mountain lion kill of a mule deer, and it was located right in her yard in Ward, Co.
Why is a lion kill not Taco-worthy Dingus? Why?
Howzabout this one?

Yeah, why exactly does everyone chuckle at the mention of Ward? She actually lives in the next town over, but the mailing address is Ward.
She also sent us this pic, taken from her porch.

I think it said lord and the 0274 number is a cell phone prefect. Hard to imagine why a small country like NZ needs so many friggin #s on cell phones with only 4.5 million people here?
I had to climb a bridge on a narrow roadway to take this photo and as I was returning to the car, walking cautiously along the road this huge semi came barreling by and blasted his horn just as he passed. I nearly died in fright, jumped up and down and pumped off the "finger" on both hands with more anger than I believed I still had in me.
