"One question I have is why folks would invent such kooky conspiracy ideas to circumvent the truth? Some folks are just naturally drawn to conspiracy thoeries."

One reason to cook up Kooky conspiracy theories is to discredit people who might actually catch on to a real conspiracy at work.

For example, no extensive or great conspiracy would be required merely to find out about the impending attacks and schedule war games intended to distract radar and military assets away from the area. Only a few CIA and Cheney would need to know.

But we don't even hear about that part. Why did Cheney tell the jets to stand down? Who ordered those war games?

If I wanted you to ignore suspicions that your partner was embezzling from your company, I'd start an accusation that your partner was an agent from Iran and he was using your company to launder money from an opium sales being used to finance plutonium production, cause we are secretly in bed with the Iranians to keep military sales up.

Karl

Karl, this is even more fundamental. We can cook up reasons why the plane crashed in the Pentagon, but the fact is, a plane did crash into the pentagon and yet some are saying otherwise.

Yes Karl, it makes perfect sense that conspiracy believers would be paranoid about faked conspiracy theories.

The plane is not the real important part. Nor the WTC towers.

Going to the root of the entire series of events and then going outward is far more important and productive.

Thinking which toothpaste to use on a horrendous toothache when instead one really needs a root canal isn't really going to work very well.

Once again.

Are these loons, whackjobs, nutcases and conspiracy theorists?

NO.

These are Patriots all the way and know something you and I don't fully know. They are insiders, politicians, and military personnel . . .

http://patriotsquestion911.com/

I'm standing with them because the known facts do not add up to the OCT and people are working it out. And working it out really well. We know they are lying. The facts prove inside job. The physics prove inside job. The war games and all the stand-down orders prove inside job. Follow the money proves inside job. I can go on and on.

For you not to see this, you have to have on some serious blinders at this point, that and perhaps your job security and pay are commenserate to you keeping your mouth shut and mumb about all of this, don't make waves, go along with the OCT and everything is gonna be just fine. Just let them have their endless War on Terror. It will all be OK. Just let these Billions slip away and let us have our Wars, and let us steal other sovereign country resources, and torture and rendition, and everything is gonna be just fine and dandy. Yea, in some perverse and wicked Imperialist nightmare.

That is 100% USDA Grade Bovine Dung. All of this massive poop is taking our Country down.

That's not what I'm saying. I wasn't at the pentagon and I don't know squat. I don't know why they confiscated the surveillance video from nearby places and still haven't released them but it could just as easily be that nobody wants to prove a plane hit the pentagon. Why?

Cause the idea of a plane not hitting the pentagon seems crazy. Who would plan such an insane plot when there would be no controlling whether there were tons of witnesses with video cameras around. You plant the story in people's minds and it distracts them for worrying about why the director of the Pakistani secret service wired $100,000 to Mohammed Atta and then was meeting with TOP US security official on 9-11 when all this crap went down.

Nobody is looking into that, The public is scarely aware of it. Why? Because they are worried about the pentagon or the towers or something

For those who are so smug that everything is hunky dory and always has been, consider the plan approved by ALL the joint chiefs of staff to conduct deadly false flag operations and blame them on Cuba. Can you really say if Kennedy didn't nix the idea, that you would have seen through it. Check out Operation Northwoods.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods

This is critical. It was our government in recent times proposing this stuff. Before Iraq, Bush proposed flying a plane painted in UN colors over Iraq trying to get them to shoot it down so he could have war. WTF?

Wanna talk about conspiracy. The whole Iraq war has virtually been PROVED to be a conspiracy where they KNEW wmds weren't an issue but passed the war off via that excuse anyway.

But nobody went to jail for that treason. We swept it under the rug because of complacent attitudes who follow like sheep

Karl, c'mon, There are witnesses, debris found, a hole in the building, and a bunch of missing passengers. Even Chaz said, in an earlier thread, his uncle saw it hit the building. How much more do you need?

No, instead it must be some kind of amorphous big brother orchestrated by...George W Bush (bwahahahaha).

This is a huge waste of time. I could say "The sky is blue" and these folks would say "No, there's an illuminati plot to make you think it is."

I'm sorry, this is borderline delusional. Some folks on this thread need help: they don't need us indulging their fantasies.

RoxJox,

Blow me. I've read enough of your links to know they (and you) are full of crap, in this case. I question a lot of what the guberment tells us, and think the 9/11 report was probably halfassed.

But, for example, from your "911patriots" link, there's the engineers' "investigation". One quote about half way through the PDF: "NIST’s recent report blames one buckling column, number 79, for WTC 7’s global and near-symmetrical collapse, yet characterizes WTC 7’s fires as “normal office fires” which only burn twenty minutes in any given location"

They say the same thing about jet fuel only burning for 10 minutes and the office furniture only being able to burn for 20 minutes, 20 NO WAY the temps could reach the 2700 degrees you need to melt steel.

BULLSH#T.

Underground mine fires usually involve diesel fuel (similar BTU/lb as jet fuel), rubber, maybe some wood. An equipment fire can burn for DAYS if you can't get to it and put it out, and leave the machine a melted pile of metal. if an air (oxygen) is maintained, that rubber and oil will burn and burn, even when the diesel is long gone.

Theory and math on paper don't always meet up with the practical world, and those quotes in the engineering paper don't give those guys a whole lot of credibility in my eyes.

I have a PE, too. Another piece of paper that says I passed another test.

Almost NONE of the respondents on this thread READ or VIEWED a single one of your recent links. You cannot argue with them, because they refuse to see the possibilities.

Many of the links come from sources like the "Democratic Underground". Here's what DU says in its "About DU" section:

About Democratic Underground, LLC

Democratic Underground (DU) was founded on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2001, to protest the illegitimate presidency of George W. Bush and to provide a resource for the exchange and dissemination of liberal and progressive ideas. Since then, DU has become one of the premier left-wing websites on the Internet, publishing original content six days a week, and hosting one of the Web's most active left-wing discussion boards.

This morning I told Bookworm that I do not trust his right wing news sources because they have an axe to grind.

Same thing with lefty websites: Do. Not. Trust.

So no, I usually don't look at them. It is awfully telling that not a single mainstream source has picked up this story. Not a single one. If the "truth" is as obvious as you it is there's a big fat Pulitzer dangling right there.
