i successfully demonstrated my aptitude to be both clueless and effusive
during an encounter with this illustrious craftsman. both he and his sweetheart
treated me kindly and with sympathy despite my undignified enthusiasm.
when the particulars of his eminence came to light
i gathered a bit of composure and in an opportunistic flourish
posed him feigning slumber in front of his handiwork
while i snapped up a few stray photons.
the ever vigilant tom kimbrough
stood by out of concern and just in case ... that's what friends are for

nobody around here takes me seriously, eh?
