This is a bit strange. These jets flew over Yosemite Valley while we were hiking up the 4 Mile Sentinel Trail. I recall they circled at least once, so I was ready for them! I wondered if we were at war. I've been trying to figure what's going on in that photo. There's must be 3 jets in line, and then 2, with weird perspective and the telephoto helps to exaggerate. They were probably over-awed by El Cap and flew tighter than they could have otherwise.

I think the hologram was disrupted. Reilly, I know. A video at the right angle showing the 3 jets converging into one would be cool. I have something like that on video with 3 sailboats converging. The upper jet looks to be closest to the camera, but it could be the other way. Maybe you guys know how formations fly. A friend told me it may be a missing man formation.
