nice crop of mustard. if you catch the greens when they're tender, they cook up pretty good, like kale or chard. olive oil, modena vinegar, salt and pepper, whatever.
when they've gone to flower it's too late, but maybe somebody knows how to pound that down into something to put on hot dogs.

FACT: 3 LITTLE PIGS IS CHISSELED
Them things are pin scars. Then someone filled them with cement. Then someone else chiselled 'em out again.
Were you around when someone dug a tunnel straight down and under the SE corner of boulder 1? A few days later someone lost it in a toyota on Topanga Cyn Blvd and rolled it down the embankment where it came to rest.
Someone took the tires off it, dropped them in the hole by boulder 1 and buried them there. I'm sure you could dig them up now.

Was someone trying to get an epic FA with an underground sit start with that tunnel?

Spider, you need to get out more often. Pigs is now about 5.10, a key foothold broke off a year or so ago.

John Oliver & I buried the tires under boulder 1 - I don't know who dug the hole & I'm not telling were the tires & wheels came from, but John & I buried them & filled the hole - ditch or what ever in. It was deeper than I am tall - SE corner of rock 1, now called boulder 1.

Guyman, Climbed it on Sunday. Definitely 5.8. -- Compare it to the 5.7 on Boulder 2, the one right of the 5.8 Pin Scars and left of the 5.0 get-up/get-down.
If you are really strong, good with finger locks, know how to use your feet and can easily find footholds, it's like 5.6. I think the 5.10 rating is a hold over from the early 1980's guide. It was definitely a harder climb then AND shoes were not the same. I think it's a full grade easier if you're wearing Stealth C4 rubber on your feet.
It changes all the time. The pigs have been slowly getting wider. Footholds used to be harder but cups are starting to form due to heavy traffic.
