A big thank you to Gal for donating her time to design a logo for the event. I know for certain it took her a while to fine tune it and I love how it turned out! I love it soooo much that I'm working with her for a similar logo for our business! Anyone here in need of graphic artwork, she may be your "Gal".

Looks like there is some interest in T-shirts? I'm considering either pre-printing some (need to talk to Dave about that first) and/or pre-order variety similar to what Nature does for the Sushi-fest shirts.

Anyone want to save me a few hours and do the research on a good online printer that has small minimum orders? Keep in mind us girls want ladies t-shirts and tanks made for real size women not 14 year old girls.

Anyone want to work the t-shirt project?

Thanks Gal - I've said it once, twice a thousand times......I love the work you did!!

Thanks Susan! I like the way the logo turned out. This party is going to be the party of all parties-looking forward to it-and a lot of good fundraising is happening! Also looking forward to meeting those of you I only see here on the Supertopo.

Susan, I like Zazzle a lot, but many of the women's styles do run rather small. They are good about telling you up front which ones they are.

Wish I could join everyone at the fundraiser but I will be with east coast relatives in Las Vegas that whole week.

Susan, Guido and Ihateplastic are both tee shirt printers. Maybe they can help out. Although Guido may be on NZ.

Guess I better post my official participation in this great event.

Will probably get in the week before and can certainly help out with what ever needs to be done.

I don't have a list of stuff yet for the fund raising, but will try to compile one soon. May just show up with a couple of things.

Anyone interested in vintage Ramer gear? Not usable. I might be talked into giving up some of my collection for the cause.

The T-shirt design is awesome! I want one.

Occupy Hemmingway Buttress!!!

One of the last times I was at HB, a group of like 12 SoCal climbers all piled into the base of the wall, dropping their packs on TOP of all our stuff and someone even made off with my guidebook, which I was lucky to see as I was rapping off so I could get it back. Would be fun to be on the other side for a change of pace.

More guidebook goods from the PhilG collection! A little something for everyone. Items to be auctioned off at the event unless there is something you're just dying to get beforehand. If so, contact me or post up your interest.

Thanks Phil!

Happie,

Sweet chalk bags. Better than half we sell at Nomads.

Dee ee, sent a post a while back about the food for the event with no response. What do you think? Go with Todd's suggestion of store bought pizza's or should we try to muster up some volunteers? Cheers, lynnie

BIG PARTY AT THE GORDON RANCH APRIL 21, 2012

Once again, we are trying to raise some money to fix the roof at THE RANCH, have a memorable party, replace their dead mini-van and more.

EVERYONE IS INVITED! Including Stonemasters, Uplanders, wanna-bes, Sheep Buggerers, those mysterious folk from San Diego, RADs, BGR, Banditos, Valley boys, Euros, Asians, Latinos, American Alpine Clubbers, Mazamas, Vulgarians, Buff Alpine clubbers, Sierra Clubbers, boulderers and even Canadians and Newfoundlanders, not to mention people from Florida. This means you!

In the continuing philanthropic tradition we will be having a giant party at The Gordon residence at 9561 Starr Ln., Joshua Tree, CA on April 21, 2012.

It's beginning to look like I will be able to make this incredible shindiggitydoo. Have any dates or details changed since the op? I have been fairly distracted and not keeping up.

Thanks Lucky Pink, Neebee and Dee ee. I have not received any messages but I don't think the Taco has the right email or whatever for me. I'd love to do this but life is more complex than the last three fundraisers so to pull this off I will need help.

My e mail is lrl-glue@prodigy.net or call me and leave a message at 760-749-8774.

Thought maybe this time instead of bbqing we would get a certain amount of people to bring crock pots of their favorite receipe....will explain more later if we have enough on board.

Love, hugs and looking forward....lynnie
