what is this silk bananna of which you speak?

Is that that sort of greasy undercling right off the road? 5.12/b1+ ish?

That thing was cool, if it's the same one. I only went to Woodson a few times, but I'd like to do that thing again.

Head first in the bushes:
A few crappy smears with horrible face holds to get up on the slopey small knob. Glad to have a pad from there to the better holds up higher. Really good face.

Glad to have a pad from there to the better holds up higher

With the right amount of shoe doping, head first in the bushes goes smoothly.

BVB, on 'I would die for you' the footholds are the key. There is a faint edge to back step the left foot on (not the good edge further back). Once you get standing on it you can move your right foot up to the good edge and stand up. It's about 5.9 after that. (at least that's how I figured out how to do it.)

Hey Donny, that "faint edge to backstep the left foot on" has, we believe, broken and is about three inches lower now making it an even higher "highstep" than in the past. An even harder problem now!

Good job(s) on the ticks.

Watched Powell on-sight Headfirst In the Bushes, BITD. One of the early sends that marked the end of the doping era, for that problem at least. Personally, I don't remember much about the problem other than it was harder than I expected, annoyingly so. That, and I remember it being aptly named, because I was concerned about ending up headfirst in the bushes (Pre-pads and pre-rope. Plus, failure would have meant listening to KP - talk about pressure).

Should the doped ascents be qualified with an asterisk, kind of like baseball?

Hey REIGN 1, didn't you use to down-climb I Would Die for You as a warm down?

(Edit: REIGN 1 could high-step like a fiend. Fact.)
