I'm pretty certain she did knott.
And since she nuked the thread when she couldn't handle the heat, it shouldn't count in any event.

In Iran how many people like Fattrad have been whisked away in the middle of the night never to be seen again for posting poorly?
Sure is nice that can't happen here!)

Is it really a legitimate "fastest to 1000", when you've bumped your own thread at least 100 times?

Done, couch.
Geez, cchopper, I'd expect more of you in this situation. (Of course, the same could be said for ANY situation.) After all, ST is about as capitalist a venture as yer gonna find- it's CMac's business...I thought you Repugs always assumed that the business owner is always right. You know, kinda like Romney & his Bain Vulture Capitalism?
It's so hard to understand the always-wavering principles of Repugs.

LEB: I won't disagree with the foul mouthed comment. can't comment on the rest of your post because I hardly skimmed it. However...
Does JStan qualify as a foul mouthed male? I'd be shocked if there is a single (ONE!) person on this forum that would state he is/does.
and he gets this gem from skipt:

Early signs of dementia.
One thing I can say from my observations from 1945 onward. Until current days I have never seen in America, expressions such as quoted above.
Did they teach you critical thinking in math school?
Have you never read any of the posts where Dr. F calls for our death? Did you miss that? Do you not give a flying f*#k?
Are you just stupid? Or, maybe an old man jacks off to pics of women with penis' coming out of their head. Did you miss that part too?
You use selective reading, Jstan. And, it isn't pretty.
BTW, Name the president in office when the war in Vietnam ended.
You are clueless, Mr. Alzheimer.
Skip
Skipt is gone for good.
Other than a 1 out of a 100 helpful none related to climbing posts that's the vile and spew and attitude he embodies. So kiss your friend good bye. or wave... I don't care. That's beyond forgivable.
Fatty will be back after a timeout that the whack-o-moles committee deem appropriate. The longer the better as it sends a message to all of us. But he will be back and when that time comes I'll welcome him. Right now I wouldn't. But that's my opinion and my two cents and yes... here is your change.

Yesterday in regards to another matter I wrote that the climbing newsletter I started in 1970 had taken ten times the time and effort I had thought it would. But even so it was worth every hour I put into it. Back then we had no way to communicate. I had contributions from Weissner, Kraus, Wunsch, Waterman and others. Guy's stuff was a scream.
Websites like ST have the potential to change everything. But it seems we just don't know how to use them. We don't know what to do with the medium. We are not even using it as a recreational device, though occasional extemporaneous threads are superb. Most of the history is better than anything to be found in the literature since they are in the first person.
There is a lot, however, that seems more appropriate for a psychiatrist's couch. I would assume ST is far cheaper than a psychiatrist. Maybe that's the problem. I don't mind an occasional good catfight. But we have so many bad ones containing nothing original. If we cannot avoid the ill-feelings, perhaps we can at least try to fight better.

He was clearly out of line with those comments to jstan but I will tell you that these sort of remarks are (sadly) common place around here.
I am not reading past this. your next sentence looks to make some sort of excuse for his behavour. there is none.
exactly the response i expected. so typical.
he's gone. good riddance.

One thing I can say from my observations from 1945 onward. Until current days I have never seen in America, expressions such as quoted above. We indeed have been changed. Changed to the point we are unable to carry on as a nation at all.
Skip's reply was spot-on. For Jstan to insinuate that this is a right-wing problem (which he did), is stupid.
I totally agree with Skip's comments, and Jstan and myself have discussed this privately a bit. Sh#t has changed, old timer. But what you fail to accept is that the left has gotten way too communistic in their attacks and propaganda. The White House has summoned it's minions.
Look at the Media Matters story today. The maniacal, coke-head, Brock is out of control.
The right-wing and common folk of middle America (Tea Party) has peacefully voiced disappointment in the current poilicies. Peacefully.
And yet the OWS anarchists and commies get a pass in their flagrant disregard for the common rule of law.
This Prez encourages it, while disparaging the patriots of the Tea pArty.
If you dispute that then please post pics of Tea Baggers breaking the law and disobeying the law, and then contrast that with the OWS and ANSWR and Media Matters commies.
Why Dr.F and Norton were not given the same treatment as Fatty/Skipt is very obvious to me. And Coz, apparently.
Bullshit!

I worry about you bluering, you seem like a nice guy who might even climb a bit. Hosting barbeques and inviting all is laudable and I imagine you are a gracious host. What puzzles me is the vitriol and the hate that you have for anyone who is not of your political persuasion.
