Paul Granger?
following in your book sellers path?
guacamole don't cut it he should save his library,

No ~ We the Topians ( de`super) should rally

Whats Up . . . ?

I know that name?
I think but how or who exactly? Anyway save this mans Books

http://www.supertopo.com/climbers-forum/2825530/FS-Huge-Trove-of-Books

Actually, I am bumping to ask what happened to Paul Granger's thread
with the Amazing Climbing book Library ??

That struck me as a private collection that must have been well loved,
and should be saved as a whole for him.

Anyway Thanx for the somber way that some discretion is taken ...
Carry on.

...OH? ??

Yep, stems and seeds is what mice needs.

I happen to love stemming, but I'm sure my old shanks won't hold me long any more.

And that's no stretch.

Here's a crappy grab from the vid posted by jstan on Honnold/Scream thread.Scrappy woman, that Hazel.

June 9, 1946, one of the first baby boomers, my big bro Mike was borned even before Boomer became "Boomer."

So he's seventy today, though he's likely up in Montans fishing. Dunno.

He's always late with cards and greetings.

I try to make it a point to be ahead of time.

Brothers who never really bonded as kids, we are still not totally at ease together.

But there is love.

Thanks to the two pictured with him.
As Mike appears here, he's not being called "Slim," as our great-uncle used to, nor "Skinny Ennis," as Boomer tagged him.

Some have said I don't know sheeit from Sheenola, which is true but I did meeeeet Sheena (Queen O' De Jungle) in Manilla.

As I recall she didn't wear shoes, but her hair was perfect.

I do know Rogaine when I see it and I definitely did not see it.

In news of the HighSpanic world.

the full term coined by [Mexican scholar José] Vasconcelos, is “La Raza Cósmica,” meaning the “cosmic people,”

Need I say more.

Before you ask, no that is not Huey P. Newton, nor a monkey on her back.

OT? Sure why not. Did anyone ever frequent La Pantera Rosa there on Olympic Blvd. in Santa Monica? You'll be saddened to hear they lost their liquor license.

Since we've wandered a bit, Mr. Sheen was known to frequent the place.

The revocation was the result of a six-month undercover investigation by ABC investigators in which numerous violations were observed. The violations included illegal solicitation of alcoholic beverages by females, serving obviously intoxicated patrons, and female dancers performing lewd dances and allowing patrons to fondle them.

Some Gremmie Stole My Hair Bleach - Jack Marshall Band
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqeL4VHErcw

History
The Gremmies
1964 – 1965
Spring, 1964: A new band forms called The Gremmies. The lineup is: Jim Larkin (Southwest High School) on rhythm guitar and lead vocals; Jim Belleau (DeLaSalle High School) on lead guitar and vocals; Tom Kain (Southwest High School) on bass guitar; and Pete Huber (Benilde High School) on drums and vocals. The band obtains their strange name from the title of a 1963 novelty song on Capitol Records, “Some Gremmie Stole My Hair Bleach”, recorded by Jack Marshall, a successful guitarist, record producer and composer in Los Angeles.
The band plays all cover songs, including numerous songs by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and play frat parties and high school dances, most of which are at DeLaSalle High School and Southwest High School, both in Minneapolis.
October, 1965: The band breaks up.

Sunny here today.
Neebee, thank you so very much for the beautiful card and message. You are definitely one of my Angels. :) What a cheerful message to find in the mailbox!

I've been up on the roof with Terry, a local climber, peering into the attic about squirrels, insulation, how the roofing looks. Definitely not worth a TR. :) Beginning to make arrangements for the installation of heat tape that goes inside of the pipe from the well, and surveying the very local flora with another climber (botanist)friend. We found delphiniums, and I will be planting a small meadow of forget-me-nots. A good day so far, and beautifully sunny, but the mosquitoes are getting a bit more active.

Neebee, I've moved Doug's portrait to the dining room, so we can toast him at meals. Also hanging on that same wall is something else. Do you see it?

I went to listen to a local jazz performance at a coffee house Tuesday night. I knew the lead guitarist and one of the sax players. Nice music and evening. They play every first Tuesday of the month at the College Coffee House, just off campus.

Mouse, glad to hear about the BP being normal. Hope you can find some good socks, and delighted to see all the photos.

Off to more de-scaling of fixtures. But it is progressing.

Sounds like quite a life you have there, feralfae.

Quietly being while actively doing.

Any share you post is much appreciated.

Any post you share is like, wise.

Sox, I tend not to wear the ones I have, which are prescribed.

I'm in good hands, so far as my legs go (all the way to the floor).

I've had dreams before, or wished for at one time or another:
Of Two Thumbs for Brother Mouse, starring the Spirit of the West, and a horse, of course.

The horse ran off, headed for Lost Horse Wall. I'd like him back. His name is Nightmare. He's never been in love with it.

I will need to be tolerated, which is a long shot as I am a sniveling shite in many of your opinions.

I am a long toothed climber with the deepest traditional roots.

Now I see that it is best to embrace all of the styles and even try to understand chipping, flake prying, and the 'New' Techniques, that are short sighted, soul-stripping, and the antithesis of why I have climbed.

* Pall-mall, paille-maille, palle-maille, pell-mell, or palle-malle is a lawn game that was mostly played in the 16th and 17th centuries, a precursor to croquet.
To me, it is an adverb describing haste in a jumbled manner. Like herding cats?

edit: I diddit again. I forgot the formal Thank You. THANK YOU.

Soon as I do my morning health check it's off to the VA Clinic to get the blood tested. Trying to finesse the numbers into range. Little high last time. Beautiful day. Free bus fare, too.

I have some time before THE BUS leaves, but I'm sure I can find something to do besides sit here and get sore buns.

CU later.

All the other fruit
