Look out, Lookout Mtn!
They made a grave mistake.
When Pawhuska died (our hero's ??Latin Indian?? name--you'll have to look them up earlier in the thread, somewhere out there in the Flaming Desert) in 1917, Harry Tammen, Denver newspaper tycoon, forced the Widow Louisa to have him interred at Lookout Mtn, near Denver. Cody always had favored being laid to rest in Cody, WY.
At least the original Guardian of Yosemite, Galen Clark, got his wishes fulfilled after having prepared his own grave years beforehand. His burial was given the blessing of the NPS as the last officially-sanctioned inhabitant of the Yosemite Cemetery.
But let's talk about the Cold War, not the Indian Wars.
Check out the white pants--Bridwell would have loved them around camp.[Click to View YouTube Video]Le Corsaire. Nuryev would have been a climbing phenom with that trim build and control and all.
Other corsairs...the US Navy jet, ca. 1975.And the vintage version.

Culture: not just for yoghurt anymore.
Plaudit and a kudo to "shaddokiddo," or neebee, for posting such a grand menu of music on her FB page. I've liked them all, for the most part, but forget to "like" like them. Egmont Overture is my favorite of them all, and I did give it a "licking."
I've said it before, though, my all-time fave is the Moldau by Bedrich Smetana.

It's so hard to resist posting stuff you find while investigating another topic. Hence:

And I got yer all-time & mammal drum ensemble performance here. Mr. Gnome...[Click to View YouTube Video]Enough to drive you deaf and um. What you can't hear are the "No-z-ums," but wait till you try to sleep!
"What's that noise?"
"Um, mosquitoes, um sure. Now go the f to sleep. PLEASE?"
Which brings me to gnomenclature, or name-calling.

I do my damnedest to keep it from that.

To the Old Clymer, the ideel one,
Food for thought...hmmm...
Thoughts for food might be a pipe dream, but what a wonderful world.
Extrapolation:
Think of a summit and go there NOW!
Or come to think of it, THEN!
When the glaciers were.
When some of the current BIG MTNS were REALLY BIG MTNS.
When countries of the world were HUGE and provided consumers with a REAL SELECTION of goods and GUARANTEED QUALITY.
