Here's how it goes, from an inside source.

First you go "on the book". If your number is rung for the bridge, then on the second day, you "walk the cable".

If you're not "up to it", then there is no third day.

As Ali, said, "that's owl she wrote".

She? If you're female unioneer then you're a sister, male brother.

Transgender? We'll get back to you, but possibly tranny.

My wife and I were in Arizona at a rock climbing store in flagstaff?( 1996 ?) I think.

A sturdy guy looked me & the girl up and down, with a bit of a disapproving look,

then said "you two should go to Jtree".

That was all he said, we did not strike up a conversation.

The wife was very 'Noob' looking and the thought

of us heading to the West Stronghold did seem

like more than we east coast 'turons' could handle.

Was the helpful recommendation made by RLF?
just for fun lets see if there is some random climbing to be seen by rolling dice (random # trick 101) The Great 'Gordo' UP TOP? So Cool

The potential for a cheese grater swing ~ what were ya thinking' there on this one Gordo?

He has been in In my Prayers and thoughts , a lot lately He is a saint and his eyes see a-lot
,
Hope you & yours are doing well, Todd.

But that is not a recommended way to top rope)

Not looking good fire season_wise in SoCal.

Calabasas - 5000 evacuated, 500 acres, 30% contained (.8 square miles)

It doesn't take much

The fire started around 4:15 p.m. PT Saturday when a pickup truck struck a power pole on Mulholland Highway in Calabasas, the sheriff's department said.

Temecula - 140 acres, no evacuations, 30% contained

Hi Mouse,
Thank you for Remember a Beginning.
Perfect. By now, you have a long natter from me.
It's raining here, feels just like it does in the Highlands in the rain.

Lots of remembering of beginnings, lots of new beginnings, still being Led by Faith and Love, and what could be better than to be here as new beginnings unfold?

Follow your heart :)

I looked and looked but couldn't see a sign of DMT driving on the Bay Bridge video.

I spent lots of time on night watch on TI in '67/'68 looking up at the tower that was climbed. I was set out there as bait for the enemy VC we knew would be swimming ashore some quiet, foggy night.

I had my trusty flashlight (use #40 in how to have fun with them), a wooden baton hanging from my white cotton guard belt, and a phone nearby to make hourly reports to the MAA.

I shall adjourn once more and read the missive from ff.

American West magazine article from August 1967.
Bonus round.A-R Bisson was the first to take a picture from the summit of Mont Blanc.

He received a new fountain pen, just as Hoover gave one to Shirley Temple.

American West magazine is as defunct as the dried ink inside that pen, unfortunately.

THAT was journalism as I remember it.

They must not miss the bus for 4 more days then - it is bust up the lovers' nooner,

Approximately 600,000 - 29,0000 = 571,000. That's more than even DMT could fit in frame. North or South Tower? ask Clint.

Probably a union boss (brother) and showoff.

This finally puts the lie to the rumour that the bridge was pre-assembled and dropped into place by Army Rangers in Helicopters (who by the way will not be playing at Quincy this year).

That's the south tower. Final answer.

Hell's Gate

A riveting subject, the Golden Gate:
The deaths of many who sealed their fate
By jumping early or jumping late.
Sometimes it pays to hesitate.

A split-second here, a long pause there,
Could make a difference when in the air.
More often than not, it's sad to share,
The jumpers gave in to their despair.

Trivia bonus: Number of rivets lying in the muck under the bridge, having been dropped.

So Wiki sez.

Woof Woof - Ain't that Fred "DogTown" Brown.

I know it isn't Slick "Watts-is-name"

Prizes for all correct answers.

The 'but wait', which comes as no surprize, is that if you got the right number of rivets and you buy one, you get the second one absolutely free except for shipping and handling (unloaded only by union hands at the SF port 'O' entry).
