Mountaineering/altitude gain is where you find it.
Timms Hill is the highest natural point in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Located in north-central Wisconsin in Timms Hill County Park in the Town of Hill in Price County, Timms Hill has an elevation of 1,951.5 ft (595 m).
Timms Hill is capped with a tall lookout tower offering breath-taking views of the surrounding area. It is less than 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Highway 86, about midway between Ogema and Spirit and about 23 miles (37 km) west of Tomahawk.
By way of the ten-mile Timms Hill Trail, Timms Hill connects to the Ice Age Trail,[3] a National Scenic Trail stretching 1,000 miles (1,600 km) in the state of Wisconsin that is administered by the National Park Service.[4]

Whoa, way to go O. Marlow-ow!
I can't fake the surprise, the shock, the awe I feel for this recommendation, The Flame Alphabet.
Every drunk poet, every blind author, every senseless idiot should at least take a stab at this bewk! It sounds like a sight for sore eyes, pardon me while I psychedelicize.
When, in the course of rodent events, one can put it no better without going on at much greater length, involving a partner is often a good idea, which as far as I KNOW FOR CERTAIN has been tried with wonderful success in Argentina, although in the USA, I sort of doubt it.
The advice to Fonda from Bruce Dern, his "guide" in the movie The Trip, 1967, comes to mind: "Whatever happens, just go ahead and die."

Have you noticed the credit given to Sr. Norman Thomas di Giovanni for having translated the work of Sr. Jorge Luis Borges? It usually reads something like, "Translated from the Spanish by NTdG."
Sr. di Giovanni was much more than a translator, more like a collaborator. Remember, Sr. Borges was blind, the blind author with a huge library, not a word of which he could read.
I can imagine some scenes from this literary partnership, but not for this post.
It is also amusing to imagine scenes from a similar partnership "on the rocks," (the rocks of marital ruin, the seawall of partnership betrayal, the reefs of neglect, the talus of the various Lovers Leaps of the world.)
These anatomical geographic features lie near the entrances to the San Pedro harbors, they sit submerged in the Golden Gates, some lurk in the Hampton Roads, they zealously guard the Verazzano Narrows, and dot the St. Lawrence Seaways of our lives, providing our journeys with some of the spice of life with fear of death.

I probably paid a buck fifty to see this in the lovely city of San Diego when it was released. I was an honors student at USNTC Schools Command, Basic Electricity & Electronics...but not for long. I essentially began dropping out at this time, eventually going to San Francisco's Island of Treasure, which lies in the center of the heart of Baghdad by the Bay's bay.
I was nexus-sized. The Bay of San Francisco di A, The Valley of Yosemite. The Peninsula of Monterey, with Merced at the center.
I'm having cute little flashbacks as I ramble, dictating to Lauren Recall, my amanuensic doll, while Melanie Melonsugar listens and smirks in the corner, looking up from her Notebewk every so often to say, "Right on" or "What BS."

"No fear, my dear!"
[Click to View YouTube Video]This video pre-dates the documentary Crumb.
Yolo County's Native Daughter.
Sophia Violet "Sophie" Crumb (born September 27, 1981) is an American-French comics artist. She is the daughter of underground comix artists Robert Crumb and Aline Kominsky-Crumb.
Crumb was born in Woodland, California and lived in the nearby farming town of Winters with her parents until she was nine years old. In 1991, she relocated with her family to Sauve, a village in Southern France. Her parents reported that they wanted to remove her from the political conservatives and Christian fundamentalists of the United States.[1] In a 2010 interview, Sophie told The Philadelphia Inquirer that her mother was afraid Sophie would "turn into a Valley girl".[2]

What is your condition called when you repeat the same thing over and over again and don't give a damn about the results? It is maddity instead of madness? Is it oddity instead of spontaneity? Is it imfineity instead of infinity?
"Keep on postin'."--Cheese Crumb
Most Christian fundamentalists will disapprove of R. Crumb's cross-hatching and whatever his "message" is at the moment.
He's just being himself, using his talents, TO SATIRIZE US ALL, HIMSELF INCLUDED.
Or is it parody, which is way more appreciated here in the good old USA?

Back in the old days, manufacturers such as Silvikrin did not have to divulge potential side effects such as that rather amazing goiter on the model's neck.

This was the movie they made based on James Ellroy's first novel.

Ellroy reminds me of a hard-baked Crumb, no soft center, just crust, a cinder of a man.

The splendor and pagan excesses of Roman society are confronted by the life-changing faith of Christianity in this historically accurate fiction work. Guaranteed fiction
According to the Google Maps it's only 2291 miles from Merced to Rome. This is the house that either Rev Ike or Tina grew up in there in Rome Georgia.
