Thank you for sharing that message here, Andy.
There just might be a social studies study to be made from this.
Why do we feel guilty doing what our predecessors logically had to have done for us to be here alive and in health right now today?
I'm only askin' why, babe, I don't need to hear your song.
I'd just like to sit and rub your toes, babe, hear your woes, babe,
So how can that be wrong?
I'm not askin' for you to bathe, no, and I don't want to be your slave,
Just wiggle them toes and do it all night...
Another drop in the photobucket.
Looks like a wee sihouetted gnome!
Looks like quite an adventure!

^^^I was cast onto the beach while surfing this morning, found this and wondered about which Delhi they spolken. It's New DelHee, India, and not DelHigh, CA--lotta rupees, lotta Singhs; lotta grapes and growing things.
"Bloody mordor, frodo, it's a climbing gym!"

Well, my telephone rang it would not stop
It's President Kennedy callin' me up
He said, "My friend, Bob, what do we need to make the country grow" ?
I said, "My friend, John, "Brigitte Bardot,
Anita Ekberg
Sophia Loren"
Country'll grow.
The country did in fact grow. Pretty sage that rZimmerman fellow.

Before you slip into unconsciousness
I'd like to have another kiss
Another flashing chance at bliss
Another kiss, another kiss
Do you have any idea what I'm talking about?
Do I care ? do you? that share up ther is likely to get us both written off, well, I already am
(written off)
I am already.
To those that know it reads like a crowing in the barn yard . A piggy boykaman strutting?
That is not why or what I ment,
It was not the intent as I was the messenger of the story of the past.
Men are fickle. Women is losers. The Finger of Fate is fickle. You figure it out and get back to me every thousand years or so...
The pitches may be hard and filled with pain
Enclose me in your gentle rain
The time you ran it out was too insane
We'll try again, again, and again
Oh tell me where your free climb lies
These cliffs are friends that never die
Deliver me from reasons why
You'd rather cry, I'd rather try
The crystal holds are very small
A thousand pulls, a thousand falls
A thousand dawns, I've spent some time
When we get done, I'll sure feel fine

Not your father's (nor mine for that matter) PT Cruiser.
Lightweight aluminun, 55 lumen, inexpensive, L.E.D. flashlight. Apparently, although 55 is better than a lot of L.E.D. flashlights it still is not great, but you can see where you're stepping. You can buy a 350 lumens light for $30 vs this one for $4.
Excellent for when those 22-mile hikes get started after noon and it's dark trying to find your way home. Mountain Lion repellant? Who knows. M went ahead and ordered the big can of bear spray just in case.
EDIT:
Well I just bid on a 500 lumen model - stay tuned. Guess what? It's from China. OK final price was $5.50 free shipping. Wonder when it will arrive.

Alot easier to buy than a flame thrower that's for sure. Aluminum, light weight. Couldn't get a lumens number.
EDIT: I've just been informed that the 20 oz. bottle of Srirachi is only $3.99. I wonder how far it shoots. BTW, where is Ron Anderson?
EDIT-MO: Even old honky gangs are arming up.

You heard it here second. On the SD news channel I was just informed that when it's raining "you can't slow down as fast".
Some folks just don't get it and keep right on dancing in the rain.

Some folks are recommending a dose as high as one teaspoon of turmeric with each meal.
Public service msg#2 don't forget to click to enlarge that article upstream if your intention is to read it.
With the rather large budget expenditures for homeland security, if you're not feeling safe, why not move there?
However, as with all govt. programs, the results may not be as anticipated.
You may be murdered, assaulted or burgled, but your car is probably safe and you probably won't be raped in it.

Find David Byrne a city to live in...[Click to View YouTube Video]
Not Delhi, CA., not Uno, CA., and not Tapio, CA.
Seek solitude, not Sikhs...there goes Livingston, CA. Too close to Delhi, CA., anyway. And not enough parking.
Farming is a dangerous occupation. Farm at your own risk.
Raising chickens, though...it's what Livingston is for.
There's even a brown rice factory. Or is that in Bermingham, AL.? Was it Memphis? I'm sooo tired.

( Received on August 5, 1991 )
Abstract: The effect of curcumin administration in reducing the serum levels of cholesterol and lipid peroxides was studied in ten healthy human volunteers, receiving 500 mg of curcumin per day for 7 days.
A sifnigicant [Indian spelling] decrease in the level of serum lipid peroxides (33%), increase in HDL Cholesterol (29%), and a decrease in total serum cholesterol (11.63%) were noted.
As curcumin reduced serum lipid peroxides and serum cholesterol. the study of curcumin as a chemopreventive substance against arterial diseases is suggested.
First human study I found. Note that 500 mg of curcumin adds up to a whole lot of turmeric. The study on constituents of turmeric I found measured curcumin in turmeric powder at 3.14%.
Interestingly, the change in HDL these folks found is right in line with Michele's results and she was only taking about 1/2 teaspoon each of ginger and turmeric.
EDIT: The proverbially slow boat to/from China. My estimated date of arrival for the flashlight is Jan 29 - Mar 10.

Yeah, Psycho-related Merced, a connection to the lady in the Bates Motel shower, resistant to friendly persuasion, apparently, and paying the price...
Showers are overrated, like the enjoyment one gets from playing slots. (Don't try to understand, just gowiththeflow.)
Enjoy life on a Dali basis.I'm not recommending turmeric for what ails. Bleed between my lines.
